Apparently Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (the “gem” who runs the DNC) was prepared to aggressively portray Obama as anti-woman and anti-Semitic if he had dared to replace her as DNC chairwoman… Now that would have been a fun fight to watch.
The Obamacare tax on “Cadillac” healthcare plans is at the heart of the first nationwide oil refinery strike in 35 years. I guess the United Steele Workers are finding out that progressive policies really only seem appealing when someone else pays for them.
Another leftist California city is (quickly) going broke. I guess San Jose, CA is starting to figure out what Margaret Thatcher meant when she said socialists would eventually run out of other people’s money.
Hollywood spent Sunday night patting themselves on the back with this year’s Academy Awards celebration. Leftists are upset because it was “too white”, conservatives are upset because of liberal acceptance speeches, and the rest of us are upset because this is all we’re going to hear about for the next week.
On the bright side: Birdman won the award for Best Picture. Now maybe someone will actually want to watch it.
Do we really have to keep naming winter storms? Winter Storm “Quantum” is bringing record colds across the country… Which is obviously very strange for the month of February.
A couple in England were denied the opportunity to adopt a child after government workers witnessed the would-be-father puffing on an electronic cigarette… A public flogging will likely also be held for him in coming weeks.
