Five Times Sanders Slammed Clinton Before Endorsing Her

As of Tuesday July 12 Bernie Sanders has officially endorsed Hillary Clinton for President. I think it's time we look back on all the shade he's thrown at her over the past year.

1. Sanders rally in April 2016

“I don’t believe that she is qualified if she is . . . taking tens of millions of dollars in special interest funds,” he told a crowd in Philadelphia. “I don’t think you are qualified if you get $15 million from Wall Street through your super PAC."

2. Democratic Debate in New York

"Let’s talk about judgment. And let us talk about the worst foreign policy blunder in the modern history of this country. I led the opposition to that war. Secretary Clinton voted for it. Let’s talk about judgment."

3. Democratic Debate in New York again

"Oh my goodness, [the big banks] must have been really crushed by this. Was that before or after you received huge sums of money by giving speaking engagements?"

4. Interview in June 2016

"Do I have a problem when a sitting secretary of State and a foundation run by her husband collects many, many dollars from foreign governments — governments which are dictatorships? Yeah, I do have a problem with that. Yeah, I do,"

5. March 2016

“It is obscene that Secretary Clinton keeps going to big money people to fund her campaign," Sanders said. "But it's not only this Clooney event, it is the fact that she has now raised well over $15 million from Wall Street for her super PAC and millions more from the fossil fuel industry and from the drug companies."
