It’s a daytime show that gives us plenty of material, and that will be even more so next week. The View has become the platform for the modern American liberal woman. Most of the time, they have takes on issues that make you cringe because almost everything is a Democratic Party talking point. They will be scrutinized next week. When announced, there were gasps from the audience.

It’s the perfect person: It’s Vice President JD Vance (via Deadline):

Vice President JD Vance will make his first appearance on The View next week.

His guest spot comes as the show is the subject of an FCC investigation, led by President Donald Trump’s appointed chairman Brendan Carr, over the agency’s equal time rule.

ABC has pushed back on the investigation, saying that the crackdown is a chill to its First Amendment rights. The White House also has attacked the show and one of its co-hosts, Joy Behar. The FCC also ordered the early renewal of ABC owned-and-operated station broadcast licenses, something that network called “an extraordinary demonstration of power and coercion.”

Oh, this is going to be great.

Vance knows his enemy and will probably outmaneuver everyone on the panel, especially Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin. It might get tense, but we’ll be ready to post about any blowups that are likely to happen.
