Joe Biden is going to need to call in some favors in Beijing, because his presidential library—which should really be a nursing home—is in trouble. It goes beyond logistics, including the placement of items at the agreed-upon site. This project costs money, and no one wants to give a dime to this weak, stupid, half-brain-dead disgrace of a president who needs Post-it notes that remind him to put on pants every day. Joe needs cash for this library that celebrates mediocrity and gross executive absenteeism—and no one is opening their checkbook.
What a broke ass piece of crap—I’m sorry. Democrats were willing to lie on his behalf about his mental state, which we all knew was shoddy. But after his epic implosion in the June debate on CNN with Donald Trump, which was an election-killing event, all his allies began making moves to remove him from the ballot. Now, I do understand why Democratic donors are hesitant to contribute further after their party was put through the meat grinder in 2024, especially after financing the Solyndra of political campaigns with Kamala Harris. But someone must give Joe money for his library, right (via NBC News):
Former President Joe Biden is running into a problem in his nascent effort to raise money for a presidential library: Donors are checked out.
“I want an $800,000 refund,” said John Morgan, a Florida-based personal injury lawyer. He was referring to the nearly $1 million he said he raised for Biden that went to then-Vice President Kamala Harris last year, after she assumed Biden’s role as the Democratic presidential nominee.
“I don’t believe a library will ever be built unless it’s a bookmobile from the old days,” added Morgan, who is a longtime Biden devotee.

Most of the more than half a dozen people who were once major Biden donors or bundlers who spoke with NBC News said they harbored no ill will toward Biden himself but either wouldn’t give to the library or would give only a token amount. A number of them requested anonymity to speak frankly.
They cited a range of factors, from not wanting to make themselves a target of the White House to holding their financial firepower for the party’s future. Some cited personal interactions with Biden’s inner circle as being so distasteful they believed it would be a barrier to ever raising significant funds for the 46th president of the United States.
What a brutal quote. Also, enough with the semantics here. Please. You hate the guy. You never liked the guy. Stop pretending. You don’t need to—he’s gone. You can hate him all you want, just like we do.
That’s quite the juxtaposition: someone saying you want a refund for the money you raised, and later some anonymous rando fat cat donors saying the reluctance to donate for a library shouldn’t be taken as a sign that they hate Biden when they likely agree with the refund sentiment is just an insult to everyone’s intelligence. If people don’t like you, they don’t give you money. It’s not that hard.
