Trump's Incoming Press Secretary Reveals What New Protocols Are Coming to the Briefing Room

Jabin Botsford/The Washington Post via AP, Pool

I think she’s going to do well. President-elect Donald J. Trump selected Karoline Leavitt as his voice in the White House Briefing Room in a few weeks. Soon to officially be the White House press secretary, Ms. Leavitt outlined the changes to the press room, which will likely infuriate the liberal media.

For starters, it’s clear that streamers and YouTube creators might be getting more of a voice and representation if they apply for credentials. They won’t be rejected either. Leavitt said that her job will ensure that the American people get the facts, updates, and other news from the second Trump White House as straight as they can and not from the biased lens of the anti-Trump media establishment.

“As for the press briefing room, we are certainly exploring ways on how to make sure that room reflects the media habits of the American people in 2024,” Leavitt said.

No one listens to the mainstream press anymore due to serial lying and sheer atrociousness at getting the story right: Russian collusion, Hunter Biden’s laptop, the COVID lab leak, and Joe Biden’s mental health were all significant stories this industry either neglected or intentionally misreported to protect Democrats.

Even Democrats realize that legacy media is no longer what it used to be—Kamala Harris’ digital operative admitted as much, acknowledging that the new information ecosystems are the next frontier in voter outreach. Right now, the Left is disadvantaged in that medium.

Could you imagine Theo Von or Joe Rogan in the briefing room? It will likely cause the heads of newsrooms to explode, but who cares about the whining and tears from the kings of dying kingdoms? This woman is about to go multiple rounds with the media, and it seems she’ll be pretty lethal. I hope she is because the liberal media deserves to be endlessly humiliated.
