Meltdown: CNN's Don Lemon Begs Twitter to Stop Protecting First Amendment Rights Over Trump's Tweets

Meltdown: CNN's Don Lemon Begs Twitter to Stop Protecting First Amendment Rights Over Trump's Tweets

As we’ve noted before, President Trump has broken the minds of liberal America, especially within their media sphere. I mean, it’s become totally unhinged. And CNN appears to be one of the prime hot spots for meltdowns from its hosts and reporters over this White House. It’s great. It’s great entertainment for sure—and Don Lemon keeps being a gold mine for these sorts of events.

Lemon has melted down over a rally Trump had in Phoenix, over John Kasich not being sufficiently tough on the president’s coronavirus address (that one was epic), when Trump reportedly called some nations s**tholes, and when the Trump campaign tweeted out memes of Trump as Thanos. These people just can’t take it. It’s partially why I feel that Trump is going to win re-election this year. They still don’t get it. The president went on a tear recently, accusing former Republican Congressman and current MSNBC host Joe Scarborough of allegedly murdering his former intern. Is it true? Probably not. It’s been debunked supposedly, with even figures like Michael Moore having some fun at Scarborough’s expense (via WaPo):

Trump’s reckless tweet addressed a circumstance that needn’t invade contemporary American life: In 2001, Lori Klausutis, a 28-year-old aide working in the Fort Walton Beach, Fla., office of then-Republican congressman Joe Scarborough, died while at work. Foul play wasn’t alleged at the time: “An autopsy revealed that Klausutis had an undiagnosed heart condition and a coroner concluded she passed out and hit her head as she fell,” notes a fact-check from the Associated Press. “The coroner said the head injury caused the death, but she wasn’t struck by another person.”

Foul play, however, has been half-alleged over the years by a number of folks unconstrained by facts and evidence, including some figures on the left with active imaginations. Michael Moore, for instance, mused about registering the domain name “JoeScarboroughKilledHisIntern.com.”

This slew of tweets, plus ones about mail-in ballots being open to fraud, pushed Lemon over the top.

He pretty much pleaded with Twitter to shred Constitutional First Amendment rights over Trump’s tweets.

'Please delete these tweets because I don’t like Trump' isn’t a serious argument.

It’s just being a whiny little snob. And don’t make this about the Klausutis family either, Don. Stop hiding behind them. You hate this president and want him censored on Twitter because he’s good on it. He knows how to mobilize his followers and reach out to them, whereas Joe has no idea what he’s doing. Biden’s latest voter outreach was to tell black voters they’re not really black if they don’t support him.

I get it that you guys are panicking. Joe is half brain-dead, the economy is primed for a huge bounce back in the months prior to Election Day—and that’s based on a former Obama economist—and nothing seems to be putting a dent in Trump’s numbers on the economy or in the battleground states.

You guys are losing. Period. Deal with it. But please keep throwing those tantrums, Don. We love them.

Last Note: We've had 28 million ballots disappear in the last four elections. No fraud allegations per se, but it's a bit odd these ballots just vanished, no? Also, the NYT admits that the mail voting system is not as secure.
