The Latest Jobs Report Was Not Kind…to Democrats

I can see why Democrats are focusing on President Trump’s impeachment. Besides their hatred of the man, the endless stream of excellent economic news only makes Trump look better. And this November jobs report was exceptional. Over 250,000 jobs were created and the unemployment rate dipped again. It rests at a solid 3.5 percent. During the summer, there were fears of a recession. Democrats hoped that would happen because they hate America, but these new figures have the experts feeling more positive about 2020 (via WaPo):

The United States added 266,000 jobs in November as the jobless rate decreased to 3.5 percent, reflecting a surge of strength in the labor market that has muscled through recession fears that flared over the summer.

The data, released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, beat expectations. Analysts had forecast roughly 180,000 new jobs for the month. The 3.5 percent unemployment rate is back at a 50-year low.

The jobs data offer the latest snapshot into an economy that appears to have lost some steam from 2018 but continues to grow. Heading into President Trump’s fourth year in office, the labor market remains one of the economy’s biggest engines, and Trump regularly touts the low unemployment rate as one of his top achievements.

“Looking at the high number of jobs that were added in November, you might forget that the story for most of this year was that the economy was slowing down," Indeed Hiring Lab research director Nick Bunker wrote in an analysis of the data Friday. "The slowdown did happen, but we can move into 2020 with a bit more optimism.”

This is why the Left wants Trump impeached. If the economy continues to go full steam ahead like this, Trump is going to win. The checkbook vote will cash in on Making America Great Again—as it should. In three Electoral College projections, Trump nets at least 280 votes in all three scenarios. That’s based on if the economy is as strong as it is today or roughly the same. Some voters may not like Trump’s rhetoric, but they like his economic policies. There is no 2020 Democrat who can beat Trump, so I could see why impeachment is such an obsession and why this jobs report is not good…for Trump-hating liberals.
