De Blasio: I Want to Ban Glass And Skyscrapers...Which Means New York City Is Canceled

Mayor Bill de Blasio is going to wreck New York City. Okay—for some residents, that’s already the case. Yet, Comrade Bill, wanting to remind all of us that he holds trash left-wing views, wants to enact his own version of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-NY) Green New Deal. He wants to ban glass and skyscrapers, so the mayor of New York City wants to cancel…. New York City. His pitch to MSNBC’s Morning Joe, however, was met with some pushback. You see, Comrade Bill, like his Hollywood brethren, always preach green this, that, and the other, while traveling in private jets. In Bill’s case, it’s an SUV—one of the archenemies of any tree hugger (via NY Post):

Mayor Bill de Blasio went on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” program on Monday to announce a Green New Deal that will require the city to switch entirely to renewable energy within five years — but got grilled about his daily trips from Gracie Mansion to his Brooklyn gym in a gas-guzzling SUV.

“What sort of environmentally responsible example are you setting there, taking this drive in a car as opposed to going to someplace nearby?” asked MSNBC political analyst Jonathan Lemire.

De Blasio’s Green New Deal will fine private buildings that don’t slash emissions by 30 percent by 2030 and outlaw the new construction of “incredibly inefficient” glass and steel skyscrapers.

We've already seen the projected economic impacts of AOC's Green New Deal. It's economic death. So, it's good we have Billy here trying to localize it as well and yes, he could run for president in 2020. That means the Democratic clown car could rise to 20. It’s already ay 19 with Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA) announcing his candidacy.
