Here's Trump's Plan for 'Transgender' Athletes Ahead of the 2028 Olympics

This week, President Donald Trump’s Department of Homeland Security announced that it would work towards modifying visa policies so that so-called “transgender athletes” would be prohibited from obtaining “extraordinary ability” visas.

The guidance on the policy stated that this policy is to build off of President Donald Trump’s executive order protecting women’s sports from male athletes.

As Townhall covered, the order, "No Men in Women's Sports," mandates that Title IX be interpreted as prohibiting the participation of transgender girls and women in female sports. This also applies to women’s spaces, such as restrooms.

On Tuesday, President Trump gave an update about transgender athlete policies as it pertains to the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles, California.

At a news conference, Trump asserted that there would be a form of testing in place to ensure that transgender athletes will be unable to compete in the Olympics.

"Would your administration consider genetic testing so that these people [transgender athletes] can prove that they're actually women competing?" a reporter asked.

“There will be a very, very strong form of testing, and if the test doesn't come out appropriately, they won't be in the Olympics," Trump said.

Last month, the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee stated that it would comply with Trump’s executive order protecting women’s sports.

Earlier this year, when Trump signed the executive order, he stated, "From now on, women's sports will be only for women."

"The war on women's sports is over,” he added. "America rejects transgender lunacy." he added.
