Last month, Townhall covered how President Donald Trump completely lost it n on Jerome Powell, who spearheads the Federal Reserve.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump called Powell, “always TOO LATE AND WRONG” and that “Powell’s termination cannot come fast enough!"

That’s not all. After this, Trump reportedly told journalists in the Oval Office that “If I ask him to, he’ll be out of there,” referring to Powell.
Reporter: "You said the termination of Jerome Powell cannot come fast enough. He says he won't leave even if you ask him to."@POTUS: "Oh he'll leave. If I ask him to, he'll be out of there. I don't think he's doing the job. He's always too late, a little slow." pic.twitter.com/UdG3zhBukX

This week, Trump fired off on Powell yet again.
“‘Too Late’ Jerome Powell is a FOOL, who doesn’t have a clue,” Trump wrote on Truth Social this week. “Other than that, I like him very much!”

The president added, “Oil and Energy way down, almost all costs (groceries and ‘eggs’) down, virtually NO INFLATION, Tariff Money Pouring Into the U.S. — THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF ‘TOO LATE!’ ENJOY!”
Previously, Trump lambasted Powell for not cutting interest rates.
“This would be a PERFECT time for Fed Chairman Jerome Powell to cut interest rates. He is always ‘late,’ but he could now change his image, and quickly,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post last month.
“CUT INTEREST RATES, JEROME, AND STOP PLAYING POLITICS!” he added.
