Did You See What Trump Displayed on His Desk During Oval Office Meeting With Schumer, Jeffries?

If you thought President Trump showed his best trolling game this week as he repeatedly taunted House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer on social media with videos of Jeffries wearing a sombrero and handlebar mustache as mariachi music played in the background, and even one of Schumer denouncing his own party in an AI-generated voice, you'd be wrong. The left is seething over the “racist” videos, as Matt has reported. But it turns out the president wasn’t done trolling.

During his Oval Office meeting with the Democrat leaders, two hats were strategically placed on his desk so they would be prominently displayed during photos of the sit down. Jeffries called it the “strangest thing ever.”

What was on them? “Trump 2028.”

It was reported earlier that the two were offered the hats during the meeting, but speaking to CNN’s Abby Phillip, Jeffries said that’s not exactly what happened.

“Well, actually, he did not try to hand Leader Schumer and I the Trump 2028 hat. They just randomly appeared in the middle of the meeting on the desk. It was the strangest thing ever," he said.

“I just looked at the hat, looked at JD Vance, who was seated to my left, and said, ‘Don’t you got a problem with this?’ and he said, ‘No comment,'” Jeffries continued. “And that was the end of it.”

Trump shared photos from the meeting afterward:
