There’s been no shortage of disgusting reactions from leftists to Charlie Kirk’s assassination. What’s been jarring about a lot of them, however, is who holds such beliefs. Many have been outed as ‘community helpers’—doctors, nurses, teachers. How does one take an oath to do no harm and yet celebrate someone’s murder? How can the person teaching one’s child all day be glad that Kirk, whose belief system may very well align with that student’s, is dead? Then, there are the public figures whose sick reactions end up being seen or heard by millions.
Enter: Pink, who’s facing backlash on social media for allegedly posting vile reactions about Kirk to her more than 11 million Instagram followers.
According to screenshots of her stories, the singer added a “funeral idea #2,” explaining, “At the end of the service the organist plays ‘pop goes the weasel’ over and over and overrrrr while everyone stares at the coffin in silent, horrified anticipation.”
Stop supporting people like the singer Pink, who wouldn't piss on you to put out the fire—she'd likely be holding the matches! ALL because you hold conservative values and loved Charlie Kirk! pic.twitter.com/QOYFxecNhh

According to another X user RigoStaRR, Pink also allegedly claimed Trump ordered flags to be flown at half-staff “for a white supremacist and never once lowered it for murdered school children tells you everything you need to know.” Just weeks before Kirk’s murder, however, Trump ordered flags to be flown at half-staff to honor the victims of trans violence in the Annunciation Catholic school shooting.
Additionally, Pink reportedly shared a post encouraging people to act as if they have no idea who Kirk is the next time someone asks about him and “ask them what is he known for. Ask what kind of things he talked about. Make them explain it. Make it awkward.”
