The move is being described as a “masterpiece,” “epic,” and “the art of the troll.” Many on the left are already suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome, and for those who worked in the Biden or Obama administrations, it’s even worse. The president lives rent-free in their heads as it is, and now they're forced to be associated with him every time they log on to LinkedIn. Same goes for the 44th president, whose title on the social networking site as "President of the United States" from Jan. 2009 to Jan. 2017 is paired with Trump's face. That’s why the staffer who made this change deserves a raise.
As pointed out on X by a Biden alum, “The White House is now posting on LinkedIn and made their profile picture a picture of Trump’s face, which means if you worked for the White House in the past, and it’s on your profile, people see Trump’s face.”
White House Director of Communications Steven Cheung responded, noting “that’s the whole point.”
That’s the whole point, dummy.
