FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino created a buzz on X over the weekend after he posted a lengthy, but cryptic, message about something he's learned throughout their public corruption investigations that's shocked him to the core. Bongino went further, noting he'll "never be the same again." As you can imagine, the responses were mixed, with some praising him, while others were upset with the statement that's tantamount to telling the country he has a secret but can't tell anyone. Spill the beans, they said, or keep quiet.
In the post, Bongino explained that he and FBI Director Kash Patel are "committed to stamping out public corruption and the political weaponization of both law enforcement and intelligence operations,” calling it a "priority" for the pair.
"But what I have learned in the course of our properly predicated and necessary investigations into these aforementioned matters, has shocked me down to my core," he went on. "We cannot run a Republic like this. I’ll never be the same after learning what I’ve learned. We are going to conduct these righteous and proper investigations by the book and in accordance with the law. We are going to get the answers WE ALL DESERVE. As with any investigation, I cannot predict where it will land, but I can promise you an honest and dignified effort at truth. Not “my truth,” or “your truth,” but THE TRUTH. God bless America, and all those who defend Her.”
During my tenure here as the Deputy Director of the FBI, I have repeatedly relayed to you that things are happening that might not be immediately visible, but they are happening.

The Director and I are committed to stamping out public corruption and the political weaponization…
So what could Bongino be referring to? Later, he followed up with a link to a Just the News article on the Russian collusion hoax on how the "Obama-era [intelligence community assessment] claimed the Kremlin has a history of preferring Republicans over Democrats, but decades of Moscow history contradicts the narrative that was pushed -- and believed as gospel by the legacy media and public."

Bongino did not say when the "truth" will come out, but with a statement like this, you can be sure he'll be held to his word.
