'Disturbing': Why This Undercover Video of CIA Officer Talking About J6 Is Getting a Lot of Attention

During a House Judiciary Committee hearing last year, FBI Director Christopher Wray told lawmakers he wasn’t sure whether there were undercover agents in the crowd during the Jan. 6, 2021, riot. When pressed by Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ), however, Wray said as of July 12, 2023—the date of the hearing—he does “not believe there were undercover agents on scene.”

But a new undercover video released by Sound Investigations appears to tell a different story of who was in the crowd that day.

Gavin O’Blennis, a self-described contracting officer for the Central Intelligence Agency, claims in the video that about 20 FBI agents were in the crowd on Jan. 6.

“There are, there always are when there’s a big protest in DC, just in case it gets out of hand like that,” he said when asked if FBI agents were there. “There wasn’t enough to turn that tide.”

“I’m talking we maybe had 20. You needed 1,000 to get rid of that crowd,” he continued. “Just to go through, to observe, to see what they can hear, you know that kind of thing.”

O’Blennis goes on to claim that he personally knows some of the agents who were in the crowd that day and said they work for the CIA now.

“Do people know that the Bureau was in the crowd?” the undercover journalist asked.

“Nope, and they probably never will,” O’Blennis responded.

Other concerning remarks from the undercover video include the targeting of Alex Jones and O’Blennis detailing how easy it is to “set” people up.

“You can kinda put anyone in jail if you know what to do … You set ‘em up,” he told the undercover journalist. “You create the situation where they have no choice but to act on their impulse, and once they act on that impulse, some would call that entrapment.”

“Does the Bureau practice entrapment a lot?” the journalist followed up.

“We get really close … we get as close as we can,” O’Blennis responded.

The clip received a lot of attention on social media.
