After Trump Asks 'Who Cares?' About Ocasio-Cortez, She Claims 'We Got Under His Skin'

President Trump dismissed a question about Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) Monday, asking “who cares?” when a reporter asked about the freshman Congresswoman calling him a racist.

The 29-year-old Democratic socialist claimed on Twitter that she understood Trump “like the back of my hand,” comparing him to men she encountered bartending in New York.

“We got under his skin,” she claimed.

Her claim to know men like President Trump through bartending is interesting given that the president has long abstained from alcohol in honor of his older brother, Fred, who died at age 43 from alcoholism.

She also took a shot at Trump’s wealth, referencing her own controversial policy proposal for a 70 percent marginal income tax rate on incomes over $10 million.

Like Trump, Ocasio-Cortez was extremely active on Twitter over the weekend, recently calling out CBS News over the fact that their 2020 campaign reporters did not include people of color.

President Trump has been tweeting about the inactivity of Democrats in attempts to end the longest government shutdown in history. The president wants $5 billion in funding for the border wall but Democrats have refused to provide any funding for a wall.
