Angry "Moms" Start Kroger Attack Campaign

Whether it is a discount for church-goers or refusing to pay for contraceptives, anything a company freely chooses to do outside of the liberal agenda means trouble.

The latest attack is on the nation's largest grocery chain, Kroger. The company believes their employee's safety is a priority and having to enforce a no-gun policy puts them in potential danger. But this does not line up with gun-control fanatics that believe anyone with a gun is a dangerous threat to society.

Mom's Demand Action for Gun Sense in America (and nonsense like kids eating glue, I'm sure) is spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on an ad campaign degrading Kroger's open-carry policy with sarcastic and outrageous advertisements in newspapers and billboards.

The "#GroceriesNotGuns" campaign makes stark contrasts to convey how somethings are not allowed in stores but guns are. I wonder if she is a mom:

The Huffington Post reports that the group would not say how much they will be spending on the ads, but the amount is in the "six figures" range.

"The ads will run as 'homepage takeovers' in the online editions of USA Today, The Cincinnati Enquirer, The Columbus Dispatch, the Houston Chronicle, The Detroit News and the Detroit Free Press, according to the group. The ads will also appear in the print editions of several of these papers, as well as The Tennessean."

Companies such as Target, Sonic, Starbucks, and Chipotle have all been target by these "moms" and have complied with their request to ban guns in stores. But let's be real...these "bans" are really only political moves to shut up these types of groups. If someone wants to bring a gun into a store for any other reason than personal safety, policy is the last thing they care about.

In response to the ads,  Kroger plans to continue allowing guns in their stores while always upholding local gun laws.
