President Donald Trump took to social media Sunday evening for a well-deserved victory lap against the Indiana RINOs who refused to shift their electoral maps in the face of unprecedented Democrat aggression on redistricting and lost their seats because of it.

It was a nightmare scenario for five of the state senators who took the “principled” stand of allowing Democrats to waltz into control of the U.S. House, who lost to Trump-endorsed replacements with the courage to fight back against the Left. Other Trump-backed candidates fared well in their elections too.

Now sights will be set on taking down Sen. Bill Cassidy, one of the turncoats who went after Trump in the wake of 2020 and one of the few Republicans to consistently vote against some of Trump’s efforts.

Cassidy will have to face off against Trump-endorsed challenger Rep. Julia Letlow (who also has the support of the state’s governor), whereas Cassidy’s highest name ID supporter is Senate Majority Leader John Thune. The writing is on the wall for Cassidy.

The one Trump opponent who may escape a loss is Rep. Thomas Massie, with the Kentucky primary just over a week away. Still, a reckoning is taking place for those who are confident enough to spit in the face of the GOP’s leader.
