Remember when organizations, businesses, and institutions were so terrified of offending the woke Sanhedrin that they actually went along with the gender ideology farce? Well, it appears that time has reached its conclusion.
The Women’s Tennis Association will no longer allow biological males to compete against women, marking another sports organization that has decided to flout the far left.

In the latest edition of its women's eligibility policy, which will come into effect on Tuesday, players will be required to provide a cheek swab, blood or saliva sample to test for the presence of the SRY gene which is part of the Y chromosome and causes male characteristics to develop.
Players will be tested just once in their lifetime and only a negative result, showing no presence of the gene, will permit them to compete on the Tour.
If they test positive, players will face further medical assessment before being allowed to play.
The new policy also requires players to sign a document that states they could face disciplinary action if they refuse testing.
The WTA's previous policy, last updated in 2024, allowed transgender women to compete on the Tour if they had lowered their testosterone levels to below 2.5 nmol/L continuously for the previous two years.
There are no known transgender women currently playing on the WTA Tour.
"The WTA's women's eligibility policy is designed to promote equal athletic opportunities in women's professional tennis and maintain fair competition for all players participating in WTA tournaments," the governing body said.
"Since first being introduced in 1975, the eligibility policy has undergone periodic review in light of developments across international sport.
Former tennis player Martina Navratilova, who has been the only major athlete to advocate against biological males competing with women, celebrated the rule change in a post on X.
“I played no part in this particular policy, but am very happy that we at the WTA are clear that we are a women’s association and only women, as in females, can compete at the highest level of women’s tennis,” she wrote.

There’s no doubt this was the right move on WTA’s part. It’s also great that other sports organizations are doing the same.
But the fact that they even had to implement such a rule shows just how far we’ve fallen when it comes to applying common sense. Two decades ago, it would have been unheard of to allow men to play against women in any sport. But progressives managed to figure out how to impose their absurd ideology in the government and various American institutions against the will of the majority of folks who understand the differences between men and women.
I think we should take the past ten years as a warning. Just because most people disagree with an idea doesn’t mean that small groups of people can’t find ways to force their views on the rest of us. Leftists primarily used fear to coerce organizations and individuals alike to go along with the notion that men can become women and vice versa — even though most people know that’s a gigantic heap of bovine excrement.
It was only when people stopped being afraid that the tide began to turn. This is why we must be vigilant in pushing back against these narratives. When people see that others aren’t afraid to voice their opposition, they will also be willing to speak up.
