Sen. Bernie Sanders Removed Cancer From His Cheek

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders had a small basal cell carcinoma removed from his cheek on Thursday.

The common type of skin cancer was removed by doctors early Thursday and the former contender for the Democratic presidential nomination was able to resume work later that afternoon. He even returned to his home state afterwards.
