While the world was watching the extraordinary developments on Iran, and subsequently at NATO, this week, federal judges ordered that two leftist heroes be released from custody.
One is Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the "Maryland Father" illegal immigrant, confirmed wife beater, adjudicated gang member, established human trafficker, and accused child porn solicitor and murder participant. This man has a veritable fan club inside the US Congress, led by Sen. Chris Van Hollen — who has clearly demonstrated how much more concerned he is about the deportation of a criminal in our country illegally than he is about one of his state's own citizens who was brutally murdered by another criminal in our country illegally. Mr. Garcia was deported to his home country of El Salvador in violation of a previous court order that had specified that if he were removed from the US, it could not be to El Salvador, due to credible fears for his safety there. Those credible fears are related to potential violence from rival gang members, another piece of evidence that he himself is a gang banger.
The Trump administration ultimately complied with that court order, which was partially upheld by SCOTUS, returning Garcia to the United States to stand trial for his alleged involvement in a vast criminal human smuggling operation. I've argued that at the very least, they should bring him back here, and either prosecute him or promptly re-deport him somewhere other than El Salvador. Either way, he should never be allowed to walk free in our country again. A judge apparently disagrees. It would be outrageous to release this man, especially in light of the litany of revelations about his hardcore criminality that have come to light. He came to this country illegally, stayed here illegally, and broke more laws while here illegally. He should not be treated like a normal criminal defendant. The Trump administration should find a legal way to keep him in some form of custody, perhaps through ICE. The government abiding by a technicality should not be allowed to be weaponized into permitting this dangerous man — who has become a poster child — to elude incarceration for any period of time.
Then there's Mahmoud Khalil, the radical terrorism supporter, anti-Semite, and anti-American zealot who was also targeted for removal from our country. Leftists rallied to his cause, describing him as a sympathetic family man with a pregnant American citizen wife. He had been unjustly punished for his views, they said, which violated his rights. No, he was being held accountable for his actions, including active participation in unlawful, violent takeovers of private property. He and his mob are responsible for numerous violations of Jewish community members' civil rights at Columbia University. His group is explicitly pro-terrorism, glorifies the butchers of Hamas (a US-designated terrorist group that recently murdered dozens of Americans, and outright calls for the "total eradication" of Western civilization itself:

This man is, fundamentally, a guest in our country. He is not a citizen. He therefore does not have a guarantee to be able to stay. If he were to try to visit or immigrate to this country while espousing his virulent views, he would not be granted access. We are under zero obligation to keep someone like this within our borders. If he wants to spend time with his family, they are more than welcome to join him elsewhere. But it's unclear how much time he actually wants to spend with them, despite the heart-strings PR push on his behalf, because shortly after his triumphant court-ordered release from custody (cheered on by AOC), he was back in the streets doing what he loves most — screaming eliminationist slogans on behalf of the globalized Intifada:

Speaking of the blood-stained and escalating globalized Intifada, Khalil is also on a media tour, evidently, giving interviews like the one below. Notice the dishonest pretense of supposedly opposing violence and Jew-hatred...while placing the blame for fellow Hamas supporters' violent attacks against American Jews upon America's support for the Jewish State. He also downplays these vile criminal and terroristic acts are cries to “be heard,” another intentional whitewash:

Khalil and his comrades brazenly support Hamas and other terrorist groups and acts. When he says anti-Semitism is wrong, and when he claims violence is "not okay," he is lying. He ardently supports violent Jew hatred. Notice the cynical ploy of citing anti-Israel Jews, who represent a small minority, as an example of Good Jews to support his claimed opposition to anti-Jewish bigotry. In reality, his is an aggressively bigoted and violent movement against the Jewish state and the vast majority of American Jews who support it. It celebrates the most bigoted and most violent Jew-haters on planet earth. “Anti-Zionism” is the preferred term for anti-Semitism and anti-civilizationism. We are under no obligation to keep non-citizen criminal terrorism supporters in our country. I'll leave you with a few reminders that if this man is somehow allowed to remain on our soil, he may soon have a powerful ally running the city he's chosen for his agitations:
