We covered this story extensively last year, so many of you will be familiar with the basics. In short, two Jordanian nationals -- both of whom, we now know, were illegally present in the country -- tried to breach Quantico last spring. They showed up at the highly sensitive Marine Corps base and FBI academy posing as Amazon delivery men, even though they were not. They ignored orders to stop their van and await further questioning, ultimately being thwarted by vehicle barriers. They were taken into custody under these extremely suspicious circumstances, for all the obvious reasons. One of the men had just crossed America's Southern border illegally, then promptly made his way to the DC area, where he linked up with a fellow Jordanian. And they just so happened to team up to try to lie their way onto a high profile military and national security installation. Only a fool would consider that a coincidence.
Astoundingly, they were offered bail by a judge. Perhaps equally astoundingly, they collectively produced tens of thousands of dollars to post bail. And they were cut loose. I still cannot believe they were allowed to walk free. One of them has since been re-apprehended, but as the Trump administration is now publicizing, they have no idea where the other man went. That man, who reportedly came to the US under false pretenses using a student visa (he never actually became a student), arrived on September 11, 2022, of all days. After the alarming Quantico incident, he was release and remains "in the wind," according to the Acting Director of ICE:
🚨UPDATE: Remember the Middle Eastern illegal immigrant who posed as a delivery man while trying to breach Quantico? He was *released* under the Biden administration & *remains at large.* We talked to the acting ICE director about this case last night on @BigWeekendShow: https://t.co/z26ziJ4Sdc pic.twitter.com/nkkYXbsVAw

One hopes that this effort to marshal assistance from the public will bear fruit. It's still damning and extraordinary that this person was let go in the first place, let alone lost track of after his release, given the facts of the case. Meanwhile, and possibly relatedly, the Brits appear to have interrupted major Iran-sponsored terror plots:
British authorities are investigating two plots involving mostly Iranian nationals in the United Kingdom that appear at this stage of the investigation likely to be state-sponsored, according to a senior official briefed on the threat. Eight people have been arrested in London and in other parts of the U.K. over the weekend, according to statements from local authorities. Seven of them are Iranian nationals, officials said. Police said three of the men were arrested under Section 27 of the U.K.’s 2023 National Security Act, which allows police to arrest people suspected of acting in association with a foreign power. Officials said the two plots were separate, but the senior official briefed on the threat said British law enforcement is now trying to determine whether the same entity was directing both plots...
In the first announcement of arrests, Metropolitan Police said they took five men into custody, four of whom are of Iranian descent, in connection with what they called “an alleged terror plot in the U.K.” The men range, who are 29 to 46, were arrested in various areas around the U.K. — including Swindon, London, Stockport, Rochdale and Manchester — under the Terrorism Act “on suspicion of preparation of a terrorist act,” police said. The age and the nationality of the fifth man is still being determined...Details about the other purported attack plan have not been revealed. Home Secretary Yvette Cooper called the two attacks “major operations” and said they reflect “some of the biggest counter-state threat and counterterrorism operations that we have seen in recent years...”
On the subject of Iran's dangerous, nukes-pursuing, terrorism-funding, America-hating regime, this sort of pushback against Iran doves on the left and right is evidently necessary -- even as the Trump State Department rightly condemns Tehran as the world's leading state sponsor of terror:
This is not accurate. Tehran’s regime has murdered thousands of Americans.

The IRGC was caught attempting assassination on US soil just last year. Their efforts to destabilize the ME via terror proxies are a direct threat to our economy. The only reason the Houthis are even… https://t.co/rP3qA8gyKa
The only reason the Houthis are even remotely a problem in blocking key shipping lanes, for example, is they are being armed and encouraged by Tehran. There is a reason they chant “death to America” in their parliament. They have been actively at war at us since 1979 because their goal is the Islamization of the entire world and they see America as the main impediment to that. This also misunderstands the consequences of The Islamic Regime getting a nuke. Yes there is a legitimate threat they hand it over to one of their terror proxies to set off a nuke in a US, European, or Israel city, which would then guarantee a full scare war, but are also secondary threats that are more likely. The Saudis and others have made it clear they can’t accept a nuclear Iran without having nukes themselves so it will start an arms race in an unstable region. Then it will also mean even if the IRGC starts setting off terrorist attacks in American cities via proxies, we will no longer have the option of going after Tehran directly without risking a nuclear confrontation so it allows them the belief they can act with impunity. The harm of a nuclear Islamic Republic is substantial and is absolutely a threat to American families.
As for the alternative, which is a series of strike over a few hours to set their nuclear program back a decade or two. A lot of people portray that as starting a new “war,” but that’s silly because people confuse it for direct fighting and troops on the ground. Israel has struck Iran sites directly twice in the last 2 years in similar ways (as retaliation for Iranian launches w limited impact) with limited responses because that regime does not have the capability to fight a direct war against Israel, much less against the US. What they have the capability to do is to instruct their proxies to increase terror attacks, but that’s already a regular occurrence. It’s a “war” we are already fighting and even that option is now limited for Tehran because, thanks to Israel, their main terror proxies are severely degraded and they are short on equipment to rearm them. The Trump administration took out the most important military/terror figure in the Islamic Regime’s entire history during his first term. The same voices...claimed it would lead to a major war. It didn’t because they don’t have the capability to do so.
This is why Trump has quite rightly declared that any Iranian nuclear weapons program is completely unacceptable. If they won't give it up as part of a new deal, he'll likely unleash the Israelis to do the region and world an enormous favor by dealing a lasting military blow to Iran's nuclear infrastructure. I'd also add and underscore that Iran's regime and its proxies have killed many Americans over the years. "Death to America" isn't just a chant to them. It's a core belief and active desire. Indeed, the regime has been trying to assassinate top current and former American officials, including President Trump himself. Finally, I'll leave you with this update involving another American-murdering terrorist organization funded by Iran:
