Unreal: WaPo Headline Whitewashes Pro-Hamas Bigots

Remember this story from last week?  The Washington Free Beacon reported on what police found during their search of the residence of two 'Students for Justice in Palestine' chapter leaders at George Mason University in northern Virginia.  Officers executed a warrant at the sisters' home, where they discovered weapons, foreign passports, and overtly anti-Semitic and anti-American propaganda: "When officers entered the Chanaa family home, they found firearms—modern weapons, not antiques—as well as scores of ammunition and foreign passports, all of which sat in plain view, according to court documents obtained by the Free Beacon and sources familiar with the investigation," the outlet reported. "They also found pro-terror materials, including Hamas and Hezbollah flags and signs that read 'death to America' and 'death to Jews,' according to court documents and sources familiar."  

Another Hamas-supporting, pro-terrorism organization, the Council on American-Islamic Relations -- whose leader publicly celebrated the October 7th massacre of Jewish civilians -- defended the America- and Jew-hating women.  CAIR painted the pair, who stand accused of crimes, as victims while framing those who've noticed their despicable views and conduct as Islamophobes.  Highly on-brand for all involved.  And by the looks of this Washington Post headline, they're also in on the whitewashing act:


This is also very much on-brand for a troubled entity.  If anything, the minor punishment here seems too lenient, at least from the school.  Relatedly, it's incredible to see some lefties just openly admitting that various 'news' media organizations are just on their side.  It's a fact of life, but it's often denied by people who benefit from the arrangement and alliance:
