Memorial Day Celebration in Dallas

Memorial Day Celebration in Dallas
The day began in Plano with a celebration with Congressmen Sam Johnson and Ralph Hall and special keynote address by Captain Scott O'Grady who charged everyone to remember all who have fought for America. During the ceremony, Congressman Johnson (retired Air Force and former Vietnam POW) presented Chet Bogle with the Silver Star for his service in Korea. Later in the day, we moved on to Restland Cemetery to honor those who have served and are serving in the armed services. Keynoting is Col. Ken Cordier (USAF Ret.) who himself was a POW in the Hanoi Hilton. Comments to come...
