Trump Reveals MRI Results During His Second Physical at Walter Reed

President Trump revealed on Monday to reporters aboard Air Force One en route to Tokyo, that he received an MRI at Walter Reed Hospital during a recent physical, describing the results as "perfect."

A reporter asked the President if he had received an MRI.

“I did. I got an MRI. It was perfect," Trump replied. "I mean, I gave you, I gave you the full results. We had an MRI and in the machine, you know, the whole thing, and it was perfect.” He emphasized that his medical team said the reports from the scan are “some of the best reports, for the age, they’ve ever seen”.

“I think they gave you a very conclusive — nobody has ever given you reports like I gave you,” Trump continued. “And if I didn’t think it was going to be good, either, I would let you know negatively, I wouldn’t run. I’d do something."

He told reporters that if they wanted to know the reason he received the scan, they would have to “ask the doctors."

President Trump underwent his annual physical exam on April 11 and returned for another check-up on October 11, according to the White House. The unusual timing has raised questions, as presidents typically receive only one physical per year. Over the summer, President Trump was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, which causes swelling in a person's ankles and legs.

Trump remains the oldest president ever to take office and the second-oldest in office after former President Joe Biden.
