White House Calls Jarrett-Clinton Email Link: "Utter Baloney"

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest forcefully denied reports Monday that President Obama's adviser Valerie Jarrett leaked the Hillary Clinton email story to the press.

Asked by Fox News Channel's James Rosen to respond to a New York Post story claiming that Jarrett not only told reporters that Clinton used a private email address while she was Secretary of State, but also pushed State to investigate her conduct as secretary, Earnest said curtly: "Utter baloney."

The author of the Post story, Edward Klein, has made false claims about the Clintons in the past, including a story that Hillary's daughter, Chelsea Clinton, was conceived through rape. Klein eventually walked that story back
