Rosie O'Donnell Compares Self to Gandhi After Tweeting Bribe, Insults

Earlier today, I wrote about how Rosie O'Donnell likely committed a felony by tweeting a (joking?) offer to pay Sens. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) and Susan Collins (R-ME) $2 million in cash to vote against the tax reform bill.

In my earlier coverage, I somehow missed this gem of a tweet, where O'Donnell quoted Rachel "Meadow" and accused Collins of wanting to kill Americans. O'Donnell also decided that Collins is "no woman," despite Collins identifying as such and, well, being a female. (For this omission, dear readers, I apologize.)

(Language warning.)

Curiously, O'Donnell did not go after the four other female Republican senators, all of whom also voted for the bill--just Collins.

Anyhow, in the wake of O'Donnell's possible felony, conservative commentator Ben Shapiro tweeted that if Trump asked AG Jeff Sessions to investigate O'Donnell (who he has publicly feuded with in the past), he'd be added to Mount Rushmore.

To which O'Donnell, the former "Queen of Nice," replied to with this mature response:

Shapiro joked that O'Donnell was being homophobic.

After this measured exchange, O'Donnell tweeted this (fake) quote by Mahatma Gandhi. (She's hardly the first to attribute this quote to Gandhi, so I'll give her a pass.)

Come on, Rosie. You're not some kind of hero because you sent off a few tweets that may or may not land you in prison.
