RNC Creates 'Paycheck President' Website To Promote Tax Reform Bill

The RNC has launched a new website promoting the tax reform bill. The site, called "Paycheck President," describes how most people will benefit from the bill, and provides an opportunity to contact Democratic members of the Senate to urge them to vote in favor of the legislation.

On the site, there's a list of ways a family could spend the extra $2,000 they would receive as a part of the tax cuts in this bill. The site suggests a person could make a charitable donation, save for college, invest, or plan a vacation with the money.

Additionally, the RNC released a video of President Donadld Trump touting the bill's benefits.  Trump said that the bill is a "giant tax cut for Christmas" for the American people. The bill, according to Trump, will create jobs and provide tax relief for American people. A family of four making $75,000 will see about $2,000 more.

Guy has written about how a majority of Americans think that the tax reform bill will raise their taxes, which is simply not true. Clearly, there's work to be done in properly explaining what this bill means to most ordinary Americans.
