ObamaCare Web Site: Brought to You by BELARUS?!

Is there such a thing as criminal stupidity? If so, the Obama administration's decision to allow software developers linked to the government of Belarus -- a former Soviet republic closely allied with Russia -- to help produce the ObamaCare web site certainly qualifies.

According to a report in the Washington Free Beacon, Belarusian programmers are now suspected of inserting malicious code into the program -- which has serious implications both for cyber warfare and for privacy and other security concerns. There was already a data “hijacking” last year of the US internet, which involved Belarusian state-controlled networks.

Really, there's only one way to describe the decision to choose state-controlled software developers in a country adversarial to the US to develop a health care that's supposed to contain Americans' personal information: Criminal stupidity.
