At the White House Coroanvirus Task Force briefing on Wednesday, President Trump was asked about Bernie Sanders dropping out of the Democratic presidential primary. President Trump said Sanders hasn't really dropped out of the race since the candidate plans to remain on the ballot in upcoming primaries and continue to amass delegates in the lead up to the Democratic National Convention.

"That's a weird deal going on there, and I don't know what's happening," Trump remarked, before speculating as to why former President Barrack Obama has not supported his former vice president, Joe Biden.

"And I don't know why President Obama hasn't supported Joe Biden a long time ago. There's something he feels is wrong," the president said.

Joe Biden announced his candidacy for president nearly a year ago, on April 25, 2019.

"He'll come out," Trump predicted. "I'm sure he's got to come out at some point because he certainly doesn't want to see me for four more years. We think a little bit differently."

Trump claimed Obama is reluctant to support Biden's presidential campaign because Obama knows something about his former veep.

"He knows something that you don't know," Trump told a reporter. "But I think I know, but you don't know."

Joe Biden's mental fitness for the highest political office in the land has repeatedly been called into question as the candidate continues to make gaffes and give bewildering answers in interviews.
