Larry David Has a Message for the 'Idiots' Who Refuse to Practice Social Distancing

Comedian Larry David, best known for co-creating the television series "Seinfeld" and impersonating Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) on Saturday Night Live, filmed a Wuhan coronavirus ad on behalf of the State of California and Gov. Gavin Newsom (D). In the video, David encourages people to stay home to protect older Americans throughout the Golden State.

"Obviously somebody put me up to this 'cause it's generally not the kind of thing I do, but I basically want to address the idiots out there. You know who you are. You're going out. I don't know what you're doing," he said. "You're socializing too close. It's not good. You're hurting old people like me."

David reminded Californians that going out is putting older people at risk, including their relatives.

"The problem is you're passing up a fantastic opportunity – a once in a lifetime opportunity – to stay in the house, sit on the couch and watch TV," the comedian explained. "I don't know how you're passing that up!"
