Ivanka Has a Message for America's Essential Workers

Ivanka Trump took to Twitter on Monday to provide a bit of gratitude to the men and women who are working tirelessly around the clock to keep our nation running, from doctors and nurses to truckers and grocery store workers.

"For our heroic first responders, health care professionals and the front line in this effort to keep our nation functioning, our grocers and our truckers who are ensuring our strong food supply, we thank you and we send our collective prayers for your safety and thoughts and gratitude your way," Ivanka said. "We're all in this together. We'll emerge from this stronger than ever before and maybe more deeply and profoundly connected with our own humanity and our core values."

If you must go out and do grocery shopping, thank the men and women who are stocking shelves, mopping floors and wiping down shelves. They come to work every day so that we can get the goods we need. A simple "thank you for being here" goes a long way. Remember: they're putting themselves at risk for our benefit.
