I don't take anything Democrats say about children at face value. Why? Because Democrats have a long track record of enacting policies that harm children and families, because Democrats embrace the socialist notion that the nuclear family is a threat to their utopia, and an obstacle to making government our de facto mommy and daddy.
The most obvious view on this is abortion, a procedure that kills millions of children every year in the name of 'choice,' 'convenience,' or 'reproductive health.' Whatever euphemism the Left uses, the result is the same: a dead child and a traumatized woman. The really cruel and delusional ones make t-shirts to celebrate this depravity.
For the kids they don't manage to kill in utero, Democrats have decided that abused, autistic children, or gay and lesbian children who don't conform to the Left's twisted views of gender norms were somehow born in the wrong body. They give them puberty-blocking medications and wrong-sex hormones, remove perfectly healthy body parts, and call it 'gender-affirming care.'
In both cases, when women regret their abortions or children detransition, the reaction from the Left is the same: they wash their hands of the mess they created. They tell the women and the children—who are children, mind you—that they made the choice and have to live with the consequences.
That's why I ignore the Democrats when they demand I hand over my guns to 'save one life.'
"You must like dead children," they sneer at me on social media, when I tell them the latest shooting (usually at the hands of a mentally ill trans person, if recent history is any indication) isn't my fault and my Second Amendment rights are not subject to their feels.
No, I like children very much alive. In fact, I support arming teachers and school staff so they can put down any monster who shows up at a school armed and looking to take lives.
I like children so much alive, in fact, that I voted for Donald Trump to remove illegal immigrants from this country to protect children from those monsters.
Democrats, on the other hand, want to keep those illegal immigrants here. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz went so far as to pardon a man from Laos who sexually abused a girl for years, starting when she was just 10 years old. Walz issued the pardon to keep that man in America, and after Secretary of State Marco Rubio sent the abuser packing and humiliated Walz in the process, Timmy doubled down saying he didn't see how deporting the man made Minnesota safer, and that we shouldn't have judged that illegal alien on his 'worst day.'
His Lt. Gov., Peggy Flanagan, who told Minnesotans to 'put your bodies on the line' to protect illegal aliens, not too long before two Minnesotans took her literally and were shot while trying to harm ICE agents, also took to X to lament that a little girl couldn't go on field trips because of Operation Metro Surge.

ICE took so much from our kids. They deserve justice. They deserve to be made whole.

Children deserve to be made whole.
Let's start with Hallie Helgeson and Brady Heiling. They were 18 and 19 years old when they were killed in Dane County, WI, by an illegal alien drunk driver with a long history of traffic violations.
Or what about Jocelyn Nungaray? She was 12 years old when she was raped and strangled to death by two illegal immigrants.
In 2021, a 13-year-old girl was kidnapped and raped in New York City. Five illegal aliens were arrested for kidnapping and trying to traffic a 14-year-old girl in Indiana.
In May of this year, two-week-old Mateo Gonzalez was murdered, along with his mother and grandmother by Joaquin Escoto, another illegal alien. Mateo's four-year-old sibling survived.
Dereon Robins and Mikhail-Lee Smith were killed in South Carolina when an illegal alien who was driving drunk hit them as they were riding bikes on the sidewalk. Dereon was 12 and Mikhail-Lee was nine.
Arya Cruz Asencio was killed, and her father lost his leg when they were in a crash with an illegal alien near Julian, California. Arya was eight.
Illegal alien Samuel Antonio Maldonado-Erazo, from Honduras, allegedly abused and murdered his three-year-old nephew. The young boy suffered head trauma, broken bones, and burns.
In Texas, seven-year-old Ivory Smith died just before Christmas in 2024, killed by a Venezuelan illegal alien who was driving drunk, ran a red light, and slammed into the car driven by Ivory's mother.
Calli Toller was six years old when she was killed on July 3 in North Carolina. Her car was hit by an illegal alien from Mexico, Jaime Santiago Corona.
And in Maryland, Rachel Morin's five children will grow up without their mother. She was raped and murdered by an illegal alien while out for a jog.
Every single one of these deaths was preventable if only politicians had deported the illegal aliens, secured our borders, and enforced immigration laws.
For that matter, where do all the children, especially the black children and the special needs children, go to be 'made whole' after Democrats like Tim Walz and Peggy Flanagan shut down schools for months during COVID, forced these kids to wear masks, and denied them the ability to live life normally because they weren't at high risk for the disease and weren't likely to spread the disease to others. Democrats put the unions and politicizing the pandemic ahead of the needs of children.
So yes, there are a great many children who deserve justice. Unfortunately, many of them can't be made whole because they are dead. Many others will never make up the learning loss they experienced. Rachel Morin's children will be deprived of their mother for the rest of their lives. That's because of policies put forth by and supported by Democrats.
But Peggy Flanagan thinks a girl missing a field trip—likely because her Democrat teachers wanted to make kids suffer—is the real atrocity here.
No, it isn't.
Deport them all.
