Keith Ellison Can't Be Bothered to Care, Even for His Own Voters

I understand that Democrats hate me, a conservative, Catholic, pro-life woman. They've weaponized the government against me, enacted policies to strip me of my First and Second Amendment rights, and shown blatant contempt for my existence. One day, I hope that Democratic voters — especially the women who vote for Democrats — will also realize something: the Democrats do not care about you, either.

Yes, they may say they care and promise you the world, but they rarely keep those promises. Earlier, I told you how East Villagers, where Zohran Mamdani won 70 percent of the vote, are suing the mayor after he announced plans to move a problematic men's homeless shelter to their community.

But when your daughter is sexually assaulted by an illegal alien at her high school, and he only gets 180 days in jail, or when your family member is killed by a truck driver who can't speak English, or an illegal shoots your child as she walks along the Chicago lakefront, Democrats won't even bat an eye.

In Minnesota, Attorney General Keith Ellison couldn't even be bothered to look up from his phone while a woman cried about her experience with ICE. Now, my sympathies for the woman are limited. ICE is doing their job, and because she doesn't like it or it makes her feel bad isn't my problem.

But Ellison is a Democrat. He hates ICE, and he should at least be sympathetic to this woman's plight, no?

He wasn't. Instead, he was on his phone and it was so obviously offensive that a staffer even told him to put the phone down.

Seven seconds. He sets the phone down for seven seconds.

That's how little he cared about this woman, with whom he agrees ideologically.

There is nothing going on that requires Ellison's attention. If there were a serious issue, Ellison should have excused himself from the stage and taken the call. But he didn't.

He sat there, staring at his phone, while a woman expressed her concerns to him and the panelists. He didn't care about her.

That's par for the course in Minnesota, it seems. Democrats like Ellison care more about the illegal aliens and Somali fraudsters than they do about actual Minnesotans, even ones who are their own voters. I don't believe that this will create a red pill moment for a wave of Democratic voters, sadly. But I do believe that there will be some who see this and have a light bulb moment. After all, 53 percent of White women voted for President Trump in 2024, and there were rightward shifts among Black and Hispanic voters, too. That's happening, in part, because the Democrats have lost their ever-loving minds.

Ellison's callousness won't help win those voters back, either.
