Gavin Newsom Thinks It’s Racist to Criticize Islam. That's the Real War on Women.

Last Friday, Gavin Newsom's wife, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, made it pretty clear that she — not Gavin — is running for President in 2028, when she hijacked her husband's press conference to scold the media for not talking about President Trump's supposed "war on women." Newsom's face gets as pink as Jennifer's blouse, and if you watch the video with the sound off, the Newsoms' body language speaks volumes.

Of course, there is no "war on women," at least not by Donald Trump. There is a war on women by the Left, in the name of "trans inclusivity" and the embrace of Islam. All across Europe, Muslim migrants are harassing, assaulting, and raping women. It's so bad that Keir Starmer declared violence against women and girls a "national emergency," but he wouldn't name what was causing it. Over the weekend, an Islamist in NYC was dragged for saying her city was "coming to Islam" about "unclean" dogs.

It's not the first time the Left has moved to sacrifice our beloved four-legged family members. In the U.K., the powers that be are probably going to ban dogs in the countryside because they want to make that countryside more "diverse" and Muslims don't like dogs. They also don't like pubs and women having equal rights.

Rep. Randy Fine, who has long been critical if Islam in America, said if the choice was between dogs and Muslims, it was an easy one.

For some reason, this triggered Newsom. Hard.

First of all, Gavin, Muslim isn't a race. There are African Muslims, Asian Muslims, and Arab Muslims. Second, it's not racist to point out that an ideology — Islam is not just a religion, but a sociopolitical ideology — wholly incompatible with Western life doesn't belong here. The West decided long ago that dogs were man's best friend, and we've had dogs as beloved pets, workers, and assistance animals for years.

But for a guy who is so worried about President Trump's "war on women," Newsom is sure quick to jump into bed with an ideology that literally believes women are second-class citizens. That's what an Afghan national told the U.K. courts after raping British girls: he "wasn't used" to a culture that let women do things like leave the house, get an education, and have a job. Of course, his home country has turned women into prisoners. They can't go to school, can't hold jobs, can't leave their house, or be seen from its windows. They're not able to become doctors and are not able to see male doctors, either. Where's the "healthcare is a human right" crowd on that one?

The Left has decided that it's racist to speak critically of Islam, even when it's accurate, and that racism is a worse crime than the assault, rape, and abuse of women and girls in Europe and the U.S. Instead, they've been pushing for years for "hijab solidarity" and to immerse Western children in "Islamic culture" by making the girls wear hijabs and have the boys perform Islamic prayers. They never let Islamic girls immerse themselves in Western culture. Then again, doing so has deadly consequences under the Islamic view of "honor."

For women who are considering voting for Newsom, he just made it very clear that he's going to side with the anti-women, anti-dog, anti-freedom Islamists over you. Because criticizing their anti-Western ideas is "racist," according to Newsom. He will throw you all under the bus in the service of the intersectionality politics that have poisoned the Left for decades now. So take a look at your beloved dog, and your ability to go to school, get a job, and live freely, and decide which side you're on.
