Antifa Is Not a 'Dissenting Voice'

PJ Media

The Left has mastered the art of projection. Every single thing they accuse the Republicans and MAGA voters of doing and being is what they actually are.

We're watching this play out as we learn more about Arctic Frost, the sweeping witch hunt led by Jack Smith that targeted hundreds of Republican politicians, organizations, and conservative influencers and activists. As our own Matt Vespa reported yesterday:

Arctic Frost was revealed to be a widespread Biden DOJ spy operation that sought to surveil the activities of a host of conservative organizations. No, scratch that—it was a mass surveillance operation into the conservative movement writ large. The late Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point USA was spied on, part of former Special Counsel Jack Smith’s fishing expedition against Donald Trump.

It gets worse: Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) revealed more about this operation, in which close to a dozen Republican senators, himself included, were the targets of telecommunications subpoenas, thanks to a whistleblower. Other organizations within the conservative orbit were also targets of Biden’s rogue and corrupt Justice Department. Former Attorney General Merrick Garland and Smith demanded that AT&T hand over phone records and metadata from these individuals. And who signed off on these legal actions? Judge James E. Boasberg, who should face impeachment inquiries.

This is yet another scandal from the Biden administration, exemplifying authoritarianism. It's also one that threatens to dwarf the autopen fiasco.

Which is why the Democrats' efforts to paint President Trump as an authoritarian ring hollow to me, especially when they pick the least sympathetic people to hold up as martyrs of the administration. Like Antifa.

Antifa is a terrorist organization, and rich Leftists like George Soros fund it. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) is pushing his Stop FUNDERs Act to break these well-funded terror networks. It causes chaos and havoc in our cities, violates our laws, and harms or threatens journalists.

They are not the victims here. No matter how much The New Yorker tries to paint them that way.

Antifa are not "dissenting voices."

"Dissenting voices" were the parents who went to school board meetings and objected to the pornographic LGBTQ books forced on elementary-aged children in their school libraries. For that, the Biden administration classified moms and dads as "domestic terrorists."

Those voices were also silenced by the Biden administration when they tried to talk about COVID online. Mark Zuckerberg admitted Facebook caved to the government and censored what social media users could read and post online. The Biden administration also tried to form the "Disinformation Governance Board," chaired by crazy-eyed theater kid Nina Jankowicz. They wanted to police what we said and would classify anything they didn't like as "disinformation."

Former President Barack Obama pushed for "government-regulated" media, arguing that while we can have a diversity of opinion, we cannot have a "diversity of facts." Of course, the "facts" Barack Obama supports would include such gems as "women can have penises," while those of us who know basic biology would be banned from X. He's also leading the charge for global censorship of speech. That is a campaign against billions of "dissenting voices."

After Roe v. Wade was overturned with the Supreme Court's ruling in Dobbs, the Biden administration made a point of punishing the dissenting pro-life voices under the FACES Act, using that legislation to instigate FBI raids on family homes and put grandmothers behind bars for years.

The difference with all of these examples, of course, is that concerned parents, COVID skeptics, free speech advocates, and pro-life activists aren't terrorists.

Antifa is. The Trump administration is not campaigning against "dissenting voices" by treating Antifa as the extremists they are — extremism they brag about both on and offline. They align themselves with Islamic terrorists, socialists, and other radicals in pursuit of one goal: the collapse of America. And they use violence, threats, and other terror tactics to achieve those ends.

Instead, the Trump administration is putting an end to Antifa's reign of terror and protecting Americans. If The New Yorker is whining about that, you know Trump is on the right path.
