This fiasco could’ve been avoided if the WNBA could’ve defined what a woman is, prohibited biological males from competing in their sport, and provided a declarative statement for girls' and women’s athletics. It’s not that hard. And if some transgender people are mad about that, so be it — they’re not big enough to collapse any market. Two former NBA players have decided to declare for next year’s WNBA draft.
Last night, Enes Kanter Freedom attended the Indiana Fever-Chicago Sky game, where the Fever blew out the Sky by 23 points, winning 113-90 and eliminating Chicago from the playoffs. Kanter was ejected from the game after Chicago’s Natasha Cloud had a meltdown on the court (via Fox News):

Wow, they HATE that he's standing up for biology!
Escorting a transgender woman out like that is bigoted 🤣

I just got kicked out of a @WNBA game for supporting WOMEN!

Let that sink in, AMERICA! 🇺🇸
Chicago Sky guard Natasha Cloud fired off a pro-trans message on Sunday night following an altercation with Enes Kanter Freedom during the team’s loss to the Indiana Fever.
In the third quarter, Cloud scored a bucket that led to the Fever calling a timeout. She directed her emotion toward Freedom, who was sitting near the basket at the Wintrust Arena. Freedom stood up and walked toward Cloud. Sky players and security had to get in between the two.
It wasn’t immediately clear what Cloud and Freedom were yelling at each other about. Freedom was escorted out of the arena and was unable to return for the rest of the game.
Cloud didn’t speak at the Sky’s postgame media availability. She fired off a message on Threads in support of the transgender community.
"To every trans kid/person, You are apart of MY community & tribe. You belong. You’re loved. You’re seen. You’re perfect as you are. & you will always be protected by me," Cloud wrote.

No sex toys were thrown during this game, but for the WNBA, as it’s run now, to toss out next year’s MVP player is not a good look.
Terrible, very low-energy move, WNBA.
Enes did have an evergreen tweet about the incident, which was also epic trolling: “It’s always women hating on other women.”
It’s always women hating on other women.

The clown show can end, WNBA, but you’re going to have to find the courage to stand up to some very confused dudes out there.
The @WNBA could end this in 1 second.

But they simply won’t defend women and girls.
They won’t defend the criteria upon which their league even exists. @NBA how long are you going to let this continue?
