Rosie O’Donnell guest-hosted Jimmy Kimmel last night, and it was what you’d expect: a nonstop tirade against Donald Trump. She’s not a permanent host, so she did her job and went away. Meanwhile, Trump remains the president of the United States. It was the equivalent of those silly women who scream into the void after drinking anywhere from two to fifteen bottles of white wine. Yet let’s not forget that Rosie also shot her mouth off about The View’s 30th anniversary, which triggered an internal meltdown.
These ladies may hate Trump, but they seem to hate each other even more. It’s classic women-hating-women dynamics, which often obliterate the soft, superficial talking points about how women are more reasonable and peaceful. Not the case — we all remember the white woman yelling at a baby when that Kamala rally essentially lied to supporters about an appearance by Beyoncé. At any rate, earlier this month, O’Donnell said that she would be returning as a guest host for The View’s 30th birthday, along with every former host. The problem is that’s not true, and some former co-hosts were apparently irked to the max over O’Donnell’s remarks (via Page Six):
Rosie O’Donnell has sent “The View” alumni into a tailspin over missing invitations that didn’t exist in the first place.
O’Donnell made headlines this week after announcing on a podcast that she had been asked to return to the hit ABC show, in some capacity, for the upcoming 30th anniversary and stating “They’re bringing back all the hosts, I think.”
While O’Donnell’s rep almost immediately walked back the news, telling E! “There was a mention of inviting some of the hosts back to ‘The View’ as a guest during season 30, there has not been a formal ask from the show at this time.”

Page Six is hearing that some past hosts felt snubbed when they heard the initial news and felt slighted over the perceived snub.
Former host Michelle Collins was so offended that she even took to Instagram to state she didn’t get the invite.
What a mess, but let these cats claw it out. In the meantime, here’s what she said on Kimmel last night, which no one watched (via Fox News):
"I’ve really enjoyed my time here thanks to everyone who’s been watching this week, especially the hungry, hungry hypocrite in the White House," O'Donnell said during her monologue Thursday. "Most of all, I'd like to thank Jimmy Kimmel for inviting me to do this and for reminding everyone that we have the right to free speech in this country, whether orange Voldemort likes it or not."
O'Donnell guest-hosted Kimmel's show while the late-night host was on summer break.
That’s quaint, lady. Anyways, Trump is still president.
