Nobody likes going to the DMV. The lines are long, the staff is rude, and if you forget your paperwork, you're SOL and will likely have to come back. Democrats see no problem with these layers of entrenched bureaucracy; they want to expand it to our healthcare and every other aspect of our lives.
But in Virginia, former Gov. Glenn Youngkin did something tremendous: he made DMV wait times plummet by reforming the agency. You wouldn't know that from local media coverage, however.

Look at that second graph. It jumps from 2019 to 2025 — completely erasing Gov. Youngkin's administration. It also, as Martinez points out, ignores the fact that current Gov. Abigail Spanberger fired the person who achieved these goals.

The Virginia DMV improved greatly under Youngkin. Appointments and walk ins at opening get served quickly. Even late walk ins are served in about a half hour.
Other state DMVs were dreadful - more than an hour wait.
Wisconsin isn't that great, let me tell you from experience.

They understand it, and they understand that it would help Republicans with voters — why else would they try to hide Youngkin's involvement with the reforms?
By and large, we do not have a media. We have a class of stenographers and propagandists for Democrats.
This is part of a larger effort by the Left to pretend that Democrats deliver all these wins while Republicans do nothing. And when Democrats' policies cause problems — see Obamacare, Biden's open borders or his "Inflation Reduction Act" — they blame Republicans for the failures. Here in Wisconsin, Democrat David Crowley's inmate tablet program (similar to the disastrous one in California) has allowed violent criminals to threaten victims, harass witnesses, and target cops. Instead of revoking the program, Crowley blamed "MAGA Republicans" and January 6th for his failed leadership.
It would be funny if it weren't so predictable.
Glenn Youngkin will not get credit for this significant improvement in government efficiency. Instead, I fully expect Spanberger to take credit for this, and her media minions will gladly reinforce that narrative; they already are. Democrats will do the same thing with every achievement of the Trump administration, including fixing the student loan nightmare, as I predicted earlier today.
It's as shameful as it is transparent.
