It's going to be a very interesting U.S. Senate race in Michigan. Republican Mike Rogers is trying to court disaffected Democrat voters, some of whom have formed Democrats for Mike Rogers, a group that says it's putting country before party in its opposition to Abdul El-Sayed.
Meanwhile, El-Sayed is threatening Rogers, telling him to stay in his Florida house because El-Sayed's supporters will "hold him accountable."
Abdul El-Sayed to Mike Rogers: "If you're willing to stand with me and have a conversation, you and I both know that you will wither in front of your own crimes ... By the time we're done, you are not gonna have safe quarter from people holding you accountable..." pic.twitter.com/3Eiw9W3Yaa

El-Sayed's campaign buddy, Hasan Piker, wants Haley Stevens voters and other Democrats who didn't back El-Sayed to face "Marxist-Leninist" punishment for stepping out of line.
That'll win over voters. And we're sure this newly leaked video of El-Sayed hating on Mackinac Island, Michigan's number one tourist destination, will help endear him to Michiganders, too.
I’m actually so f*cking furious right now.

Abdul El-Sayed was caught saying “I hate Mackinac Island”, which is one of Michigan’s greatest destinations.
Who does this guy think he is?
As a Michigander, I’m appalled to see my neighbors voting this guy in.
How does someone…
"How does someone who hates the state he's running in even have a chance?" this user wrote.
Abdul El-Sayed says, “I hate Mackinac so much,” on a documentary. I got engaged on this island. It’s an awesome place. Honestly, I don’t understand how anyone could hate northern Michigan in summer, absolutely beautiful, most underrated spot in the country pic.twitter.com/MfAIN386rE

"I hate Mackinac so much," El-Sayed says. "It's funny because, like, if we win this is going to be the summer home and it's going to be like every time I've ever come here I've hated it."
Is that because the idyllic island is 57 percent white and a low crime rate, when adjusting for tourism? Probably.
Of course he hates Mackinac.

It’s as fine an example of golden age Americana as you’ll find anymore. pic.twitter.com/VpsBekPPmn
The Democratic Socialists hate this.
I'd be real surprised if Michiganders vote for a candidate who cares more about Palestine than he does Michigan.

The polls show a tight race, so they just might.
We agree! It’s shameful and that’s one of the many reasons that as Democrats, we’re working to elect Mike Rogers in November.

This writer's son went to Mackinac Island over the summer and loved it.
This is exactly the same as Aftyn Behn saying she hated Nashville and country music while running in Tennessee. What both really hate is traditional white culture. https://t.co/dCbt0XIFJb

Yes. They hate America and traditional white culture. They will destroy both if they get the chance.
Do not give them that chance.
The rising stars of the Democrat Party loathe America and seek to destroy it. And unlike their spiritual forebears, they see less of a reason to hide it for political gain. https://t.co/SjGxtj600L

That is the fundamental difference between the Democrats and the Democratic Socialists. The latter group is willing to say out loud what the former only thought or said at cocktail parties.
Editor’s Note: The 2026 Midterms will determine the fate of President Trump’s America First agenda. Republicans must maintain control of both chambers of Congress.
