News Avoidance Syndrome – VARIOUS OUTLETS
Who can report on such with important algae details to cover?!
Recall when Nick Shirley exposed a mammoth amount of childcare fraud in Minnesota, and the press reaction was to rush in and investigate…HIM? And then, when he did the same in California, and the press just yawned and sat back as the state legislature tried to pass an anti-independent journalism law?
Well, Nick remembers, and he is now pointing out that—after indictments in Minnesota last month—all of his reporting the media claimed was illegitimate has helped lead to hundreds of people in the Golden State being charged for billions of dollars of fraud.
We wonder if CNN will be calling them to ask if they are guilty…?

Society will never improve until people and the media can look at issues with a logical perspective of: Is this right or wrong to be happening?

Matching Media Memorandum – THE GUARDIAN
Why is it so hard to call them criminals?!
Yesterday, we covered how the Washington Post looked at the convictions and sentencing of a group of Antifa members and came to describe them as a group caught up in a “protest that turned violent.” This was the description of a group convicted of domestic terrorism that descended on an ICE facility and committed violence, including shooting a police officer.
Now joining in on the recalibration is The Guardian. Describing the group as “anti-ICE protestors,” the outlet whines that these were “unusually harsh sentences” for those involved.

Stealth Story Evolution – MS NOW
Nothing about the place has changed, but the media positions sure have.
Recall the outrage in the press when, during his first term, President Trump described Haiti and other nations as a “sh**hole”? This was said to be heartless and inhumane language.
Well, today, after a SCOTUS ruling has said that temporary immigration status for emergency refugees should be (now get this), TEMPORARY, many Democrats and members of the press claim paving the way for those immigrants to be sent back is…inhumane.
MSNOW is melting down over SCOTUS decision on TPS for Haitians.

We look forward to your second example of this "movement."
Katy Tur had a report that she surely thought was trenchant. There is a movement of people leaving MAGA. Before continuing, a refresher: This is the same Ms. Tur who, early this year, had an interview segment with a chyron that claimed there was a “Trump supporter” who was critical of the president…at an anti-ICE protest…in a Black Lives Matter hoodie. Uh-huh, sure.
Now, she presents a report on the “people” leaving MAGA: “The MAGA faithful are leaving the movement,” she goes on to claim. And then features one guy. Some no-name guy has formed a group, LevingMAGA.org. She then turns to David Noriega, and as Ms. Tur describes this “movement” as somebody leaving a cult, Dave chimes in with the completely unbiased and non-partisan response: “That’s EXACTLY what it is.”
Katy Tur and MSNow interviewed some guy wearing Rachel Maddow glasses as an example of a "hardcore" MAGA supporter who is allegedly leaving MAGA.

Artisanally-Crafted Narratives – TMZ
You just have to marvel at the level of reporting from these kids!
We said how much we looked forward to it when, earlier this year, it was announced that Hollywood gossip site TMZ would be operating its own D.C. bureau. And boy, they did not disappoint.
For the latest, we have one of TMZ's trademarked reporters in the Capitol, and Jacob Wass had a head-scratching question for Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA). It led to the cub reporter being the one with the curious cranial itch.
For reasons that might make sense to the site’s readership (or just the editorial staff), Jacob seems to think it is newsworthy that actor Larry David looked at the UFC event staged at the White House and declared it makes him ashamed to be an American. Moreover, he seemed to think it was worthwhile to pose a question about this non-vital development to Fetterman.
The young Wass was seemingly unaware that Fetterman is in the “Gives No Fs” phase of his career, and he was completely confounded when the senator’s response was to tell Mr. David, “Lighten up, Francis.” It is precious how this reporter from the entertainment/culture outlet had no idea what that reference was about. We are tempted to say to Jacob, “Bye, Felicia,” but then we’d have to spend time explaining that to him.
