Welcome back to another "Stream of Kurtiousness!" I could talk about Talarico and Platner forever because it's the gift that keeps on giving, but I think I've covered enough of their nonsense over the last few days. We've had a few nutjobs on the Republican side as well. Guys like Cornyn, Cassidy, Massie, and Crenshaw fit the bill, but Republicans cleaned them out of office. The problem with these politicians is that they lied to their voters, saying they stood for something when they didn't.
Donald Trump is in the middle of cleaning up DC and creating a ballroom at the White House, in part because Democrats keep trying to kill him. These are objectively good things that everyone should support. Democrats have jumped on all of this, saying they are tributes to Trump's vanity. Well, nobody ever asked if letting the monuments decay was a tribute to Obama and Biden's vanity? The left's knee-jerk reaction to anything objectively good that Trump does is to oppose it completely. It's a quasi-religious objection. Wanting to keep monuments ugly is all the proof you need that Democrats have completely lost the plot.
