That the Left (the Democrat Party) hates Donald Trump with a passion is, of course, not news to anyone. They’ve tried to kill him at least three times, and the vituperation and vitriol they pour out every day against the man would fill a 30-volume encyclopedia. They hate him, and by extension, anybody who votes for him, supports anything he does, or who even says one nice word about him. I’ve never seen such hatred in history, unless it was the Jewish leaders against Jesus. And they did succeed in killing Him.
And because the Left believes that Trump is the personification of evil, they think every conservative, Bible-believing Christian who supports anything Trump does is a hypocrite. “How can you vote for Trump? That man is a Nazi, a racist, a pedophile, a fascist…” No, he actually isn’t any of those things, but when one doesn’t have facts on his side, the only thing one can do is resort to ad hominem name-calling. And the Left are masters at that—and at getting people to believe them. The Goebbels’ “Big Lie” thing.
I have made it plain, in many articles and podcasts, that, as a Christian, I have some problems with some of the things Mr. Trump says and does. But, knowing that Mr. Trump is not perfect, I don’t expect to agree with everything he (or anyone else) says or does. But my question here is, given the Left’s hatred of Trump and their attacks on anyone who supports him, what would they expect me, as a Christian, to do? Vote for the Democrat Party? Are they really serious about that?
Yes, they are. To them, Trump is so horrible that a Christian is a hypocrite for supporting him, thus I’m supposed to vote for a pro-baby murdering, pro-homosexual, pro-child mutilating, pro-transgender, pro-men in women’s sports and bathrooms, pro-radical feminist, pro-special privileges, pro-sloth and parasite, pro-government oppression, pro-looting, pro-corruption, pro-criminal, pro-American-killing and raping illegal alien law breakers, pro-perversion, promiscuity, and licentious, pro-atheistic, godless, materialistic Democrat Party. They think that, as a Christian, because Donald Trump isn’t perfect, I should vote for THAT. They have lost their minds, of course, but there is more to it than that.
Now, as a Christian, I can, and should, and do, love and pray for every one of the people who believe and practice the things above. But that doesn’t mean I have to vote for their political leaders or condone what they do. Does the Left actually believe Jesus would support their godless atrocities? Do they actually believe that?
No, of course they don’t. Bottom line is, they don’t; care what Jesus says, they hate Him, too, maybe even more than they hate Trump. All they want is political power, totalitarian control over others, and to silence the opposition, especially religious opposition, any way they can, even by murder, if necessary. Witness Charlie Kirk.
But Charlie is just one of the hundreds of millions the Left has killed in the last 100 years in the game of political power—Lenin, Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Castro, the Kims. And the Left hates history, too, especially historical facts that expose what they are. They do not want the American people to know what true American principles are and what true Leftism is. Marx said so (“Keep people from their history and they are easily controlled”), and so far, the Democrats have done an excellent job preventing American sheep from learning true Leftist history and ideology.
But, even if a person doesn’t believe in all, or even any, of the Democrat Party-supported tenets mentioned above, if one votes Democrat, that is what they are voting for. Period. It can’t be escaped because those are the things the Left, the Democrat Party, openly stands for and practices. No, it is absolutely ridiculous—regardless of what Donald Trump is—to think any God-fearing, Christ-loving Christian would ever vote for a Democrat. So, the Left can ask, “How can a Christian support a Nazi like Donald Trump?”, and the answer is, “You expect us to vote for pro-abortion, pro-child mutilating, pro-atheist, pro-materialist, etc., etc., etc. Democrats? What kind of Christian do you think I am?” (Um, the Nazi tattoo-wearer is in the Democrat Party, I believe…)
So, is the Left out of their minds to think Christians should vote for Democrats? No, actually, they are not out of their minds; they are just evil, and they want everybody else, including and especially Christians, to be as evil as they are. To a Christian, that means compromise, and that is something that no true, Bible-believing, Christ-loving Christian will ever do.
But, yes, frankly, the Christian does face a bit of a conundrum. Trump and the Republican Party aren’t exactly reincarnations of Jesus. But, my main problem with the Republican Party (though not necessarily Trump) is that they are just gutless, refusing to stand firm against evil. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing” (Edmund Burke), and I can’t stand spinelessness in the face of evil.
The Democrat Party is just plain godless and vile, purely materialistic. Impossible to vote for. But the Republicans have barely fought against it, and won’t even pass a simple, common-sense law like the SAVE Act. Give the Democrats everything they want. That is putrid.
Frankly, there really isn’t a whole lot to choose from in either party, given what the Democrats have done to the country in the last 100 years, and how the Republicans have let it happen and done virtually nothing to oppose and stop it. In one major sense, it has become a choice between the “lesser of two evils.”
But still, most Republicans are better than any Democrat. A pile of dog poop doesn’t stink nearly as badly as a mountain of cat poop.
