News Avoidance Syndrome – THE INDEPENDENTS
January 6 was a five-year news story for this guy, but an assassination attempt? Meh…!
Scott MacFarlane has long been a favorite media hack of ours here at RFTH. Let’s recall that the man landed in our Top 10 in the Townhall 50 ranking of the worst journalists from last year. Since then, Scott has divested himself of his CBS News career and proven his hackery by latching on with the hyper-Left crowd of Meidas Touch.
A reminder that MacFarlane was such an obsessive about the Capitol riot that he had been bringing up that topic perpetually in his reporting, all the way up to his final report filed when he left CBS last month. We bring that detail up to show you this “reporter” is not concerned with political violence, but is only concerned when he can wield that as a weapon against Republicans. For proof?
Behold, as he is commenting on the assassination attempt made at the WHCA gala Saturday night, he not only manages to avoid showing concern, but he reduces the attempt on the president’s life to nothing more than a “dinner incident.”

Low-Octane Gaslighting – THE INDEPENDENTS
You are simply defending a man about whom you clearly have done zero research.
With the announcement that Maine’s Democratic Senate primary is settled, with Janet Mills leaving the race, the Democrats and the press are now REQUIRED to back the “Maine Kampf” candidate, Graham Platner.
It is with amusement that we now watch as they all fall in line and have to excuse the very type of indicators they would NEVER accept from a Republican candidate.
In Exhibit #32, here is Krystal Ball as she tries to say that Platner is anti-Oligarch and anti-genocide, completely oblivious to how that man once praised the tactical excellence of Hamas when it attacked Israel.
Graham Platner's flawless victory against the sitting, Schumer-backed Governor of Maine shows what a new day it is in the Dem party. He survived the oppo dump of all oppo dumps and it didn't even slow him down. Voters demand candidates who oppose oligarchs and genocide.

Pathological Media Amnesia – PODSAVE AMERICA
Jon…Jon, take a look in your archives, man.
Joining in the excuse-making is Jon Favreau, as he tries to deflect and point out Republicans who have allegedly sided with Nazi sympathizers.
Yes, seriously.
Let me know when a far lefty candidate appears with a Nazi sympathizer and we can chat.
— Jon Favreau (@jonfavs) May 24, 2022
A reminder, Jon was among the first to bring on Platner to his program to whitewash the Nazi tattoo controversy, mitigate his past troubling comments, and the fact that he appeared on the podcast of a white supremacist.
DNC PR Firm – PBS NEWSHOUR
When striking down racism is considered a racist act.
The SCOTUS ruling on the Louisiana redistricting effort has most everyone on the port side of the center upset. The Supremes essentially said that you cannot draw up congressional districts based on race, as that is unconstitutional. Lost in all of the wailing is the reality that this also means you cannot draw up districts to benefit white candidates, but that reality does not serve their outrage. Of course, we also have to ignore the inherent racist undercurrent that they are also saying that whites will never vote for a black candidate. (Obama’s two-term career not being recognized in all of this is rather precious.)
Unsurprisingly, at PBS, they have lost their minds on this, delivering all the expected emotional hysterics and none of the cerebral analysis of what the ruling actually stated:
On the "NewsHour" tonight: A Supreme Court decision weakens the Voting Rights Act. How striking down a Louisiana map could lead to the elimination of Black and Latino majority districts nationwide.
The Supreme Court's decision could give states new latitude to redraw congressional maps in ways that shift the balance of political power. https://t.co/SpDOi5qTCz

Reporting on the Mirror – CNN
Well, if you cannot promote the journalism, may as well sell the cheesecake.
It was earlier this month when we showed you Dana Bash posing in fashions for a photospread in DC Magazine.
Now, in identical fashion, it is Kate Bouldon’s turn, as she is seen tarting it up for one of those “A day in the life” features for In Style Magazine.
CNN's @KateBolduan takes InStyle behind the scenes of her very early mornings and breaks down all that goes into curating her on-air fashion. Read her full diary here: https://t.co/yOxK6yXqiE
