As we proceed past one quarter of the 21st century, not much has changed when it comes to the fakestream media’s ability to profoundly influence half or more of our population. Consider the highly slanted coverage of Operation Epic Fury, the SAVE Act, congressional redistricting, Southern Poverty Law Center indictments, massive multi-state Somali fraud, birthright citizenship, and “No Kings” days.
Because enough NYC voters were shielded from the reality of what Zohran Mamdani truly represents, he was sworn in as the mayor of New York City. In their gleeful naïveté, NYC voters have ushered in their own doom.
Still Playing Catching Up
Certainly, conservative media has grown in recent years. Several fine news sites on the web, knowledgeable podcasters, and bloggers galore have emerged. And a handful of large circulation newspapers actually reflect reality as opposed to predetermined agendas.
Where we lose and lose big time is on television. In most homes, Fox News is the only conservative media outlet. Its nightly show hosts enjoy a heightened market share compared to their competitors, but it can’t be Fox against the world. Fox News, as well as it does, is only one outlet offering a greater perspective to voters who claim to be independent or are undecided when it comes to some elections.

Even as their respective staffs are reduced and their ratings decline, CBS, NBC, and ABC, as well as CNN and MSNOW, can disseminate messages that impact enough of the voting public to continue to dampen our nation's long-term prospects.
An Uneven Playing Field
For every accomplishment that the Trump administration has achieved, and the list is considerable, hundreds of stories concocted by the fakestream media disparage each and every one of the accomplishments. Worse, they routinely create entirely fabricated narratives that portray Donald Trump and conservatives in general as the closest thing to fascists that one can imagine.
The constant, intentional, unmerited labeling of Trump and company has disastrous effects, signaling to the mentally unbalanced that it is their duty to engage in violence, and even assassination. The Left wants the disturbed individuals within their ranks to do their bidding for them and they know that the constant drumbeat of extreme labeling of the Right is a surefire method for touch-free recruitment.
It’s true that billionaires bankroll both sides. Yet, for all that gets published or broadcast, nothing quite matches having a major television network that offers fair reporting. In nearly every instance today, fair reporting would favor conservative viewpoints.
Where Is the Collective Will?
Where is the collective will, let alone the funds, to establish another prominent network? Sure, One America News Network, CBSN, The Blaze, Real America's Voice, Newsmax TV, NewsNation, and Right Side Broadcasting Network do a good job as far as they go. Their reach, unfortunately, is not significant compared to what ABC, NBC, and CBS continue to maintain.
Raising the funds, generating the momentum, establishing an organization, and creating a second conservative network to rival all other networks needs to be the focus. Americans must have a second major channel on their remotes to air the truth as it happens and to offer a balanced perspective of everyday events. In the next three to five years, and perhaps for even 8 to 10 years, without a “second Fox,” the fakestream media’s influence will continue to prevail. Why?
Crossfire Hurricane, Arctic Frost, Plasmic Echo, and Round River are at least ten times worse than Watergate, but are they prominent in the news? Would one in 100 Harris voters have heard about these illegal Democrat operations? Does even one in ten GOP voters recognize the latter three names?
A Slow Death That Is Too Slow
Some on the Right assert that the fakestream media is dying a slow death. The evidence is growing. However, the fakestream media will hang on long enough to continue to cause major damage.
Ronald Reagan told us in the 1980s that freedom is only one generation away from being extinguished. One generation is an eternity: today, we are one presidential election away from being denied our fundamental rights. We are one presidential election away from another puppet-led Biden-type regime in which irrevocable damage on all fronts will occur.
It is comforting to think that after Donald Trump, JD Vance, or Marco Rubio will take the reins and continue. The likelihood seems reasonable. Nonetheless, much to our dismay, at some point, Democrats will regain the White House and Congress, bolstered by fakestream media lies and hoaxes, 24/7.
The Need is Undeniable
The stakes have long been way too high. We urgently need another major TV network and it begins with recognizing the need.
