The writing is on the wall for British Jews: we hate you.
On Sunday night, four “United Hatzalah” ambulances were torched in the London neighborhood of Golders Green. We had the privilege of spending some time in this lovely neighborhood, with easy access via bus and rail to all of the tourist sites. How Jewish is Golders Green? Even the Holiday Inn offered a limited kosher breakfast, which made our stay there—five minutes from a synagogue—all the more pleasant.
The burning of the ambulances says everything about Jews and Muslims. Hatzalah in Hebrew means “Rescue.” The organization is generally run by orthodox Jews and has branches in Israel, the U.S., and other countries around the world. Its ambulance services are available to everyone and are in no way limited to religious Jews or just Jews. Those four ambulances helped locals when they needed medical treatment, independent of background or religious beliefs. United Hatzalah U.K. responds more quickly than other local ambulance services. The effectiveness of the group and its associated doctors and paramedics for Jews and non-Jews alike has been true of many, if not most, Jewish aid organizations throughout the world. There was a very big rabbi in Brooklyn who used to receive people for hours on end. Ed Koch went to speak with him, and what did the rabbi ask of the then-mayor of New York? He asked Hizzoner to take care of some issue troubling the residents of Chinatown. The rabbi described the problem that Chinese immigrants were experiencing there and asked the mayor to do his best to rectify the problem. Jewish largess generally radiates outwards for all to receive and benefit. Arabs in Israel might find themselves in a United Hatzalah or Magen David Adom ambulance, receiving world-class care on their way to an Israeli hospital.
Now, let’s get over to the arsonists. At the time of this writing, nobody has been arrested. While there is a chance that those involved are not Muslims, some nebulous Iranian organization in England claimed responsibility for the act. Even if this group somehow directed the arson, the actual criminal act—recorded on video—was performed by locals, very possibly Muslims. So, as is their standard operating procedure, Muslim terrorists performed an act that in no way affected the state of Israel and only led to a worse life for others. There will be people in the coming days who could have benefited from those ambulances, but they will not be there for them. And this is the general destructive behavior of Muslims in our day. When Hamas terrorists held six emaciated Israeli youths in a Gazan tunnel, the terrorists present chose to murder the kids rather than let the IDF find them alive the next day. Their murder did not benefit Hamas or the Palestinians in Gaza. All it did was end the lives of six young adults and destroy the lives of their families and friends. Nothing good comes to general society from most Sharia-compliant Muslims. And that is the idea: its purpose is to lead to Islamic supremacy. Where are the Muslim ambulances that will cover for the burned units while the local Jews raise money to replace the lost vehicles?
And this has been the story of the Palestinians for nearly 80 years. Their murderous efforts have not advanced their supposed dreams of a state one iota. The reason is that given a choice between killing Jews or having their own state, they would prefer the former. They have no positive outlook and no desire to bring good into the world. As I wrote previously, many families of murdered Jews/Israelis try to find some good in their grief and memorialize their loved one’s existence. Palestinian Arabs, on the other hand, howl for revenge and more murder at the funerals of their terrorist brethren. We’re all the same up to the nose; above that, there is very little in common.
And what the good Jews of England need to know is that if it is shown that Muslim immigrants—with or without Iranian instructions—torched the vehicles of life, then the U.K. government was an active partner in the act of destruction. Successive governments, both Labor and Tory, brought endless streams of unvetted immigrants who only had two things: the clothes on their backs and their hatred of Jews and the West in their hearts. The U.S. is minimally trying to eject illegal aliens, with an initial focus on criminals who reside in the country illegally. Not so in the United Kingdom. Those who entered the country illegally have a protected status that most subjects of the king would love to have. I have seen endless articles about hard-working Brits who can barely make ends meet, and then the subsequent story tells of illegals with several wives and lots of kids who are given a house, money, and medical benefits—all at the expense of those barely getting by. The U.K. government has not only tolerated its being overrun, but due to a complete self-hatred of religion and history, it is doing everything possible to make the invaders comfortable and hasten their replacement of ancient common law with Sharia rules. Those who torched the four ambulances are in England because the present government wants them to be there, and if girls are sexually abused or Jews are pushed around, well—hey, London Mayor Sadiq Khan said of the epidemic of knife attacks that it’s a big city and stuff happens.
The Jews in the U.K.—and France, Holland, Germany, etc.—must realize that their governments have chosen the Muslims over the Jews. Historically, there was never any need to choose one group over another. But since the growth of an extreme version of Islam that demands Sharia replace all laws and customs wherever Muslims concentrate, Jews have been targeted for threats and harassment. If Keir Starmer were not as dense as a wall (“Keir” in Hebrew means wall), he would have used the knife attack in Manchester as the starting point to protect the U.K. Jewish population and make sure that Muslims cannot harass the local Jews. But again, Starmer and his buddies are rooting for the Muslims; the Jews are just collateral damage as secular European governments give up on themselves. Mark Steyn has been screaming for decades about the absurdity of conquering Mosul but giving away Dearborn. What is the value of defeating Islamic armies “over there” when you invite them to defeat you right here at home? Losers much?
The ambulances will be replaced. They have already raised a fair amount of money, and no doubt some heavy donors will pick up the difference. But the problem will remain: Jews are expendable in the drive to make the U.K. an Islamic haven. They had an “End to Hate” rally in Golders Green, which is like having a “Stop Spreading!” rally in the oncology ward. The Muslims are playing for keeps: they want to subdue the West and turn it into states 63-97 under Islamic control. The West is helping out because it no longer believes in its religion, values, or history. Western leaders are always apologizing for their colonial past, without which much of the world would be illiterate. Colonial rule was brutal, but it also offered many peoples life that they would never have otherwise had. Why are the only advanced places in Africa countries where the British or other Europeans ruled for some period of time?
I did some shopping yesterday in the neighborhood and heard French at the butcher’s and green grocers. These are young fellows who saw that they had no future in France. There will be more Brits here. Soon, everyone will sound like Paul McCartney.
