As we have sadly and often shockingly witnessed over the course of the last decade, “Trump Derangement Syndrome” is a deep-seated mental health issue that plagues and often destroys the minds of so many in the Democratic Party, the media, academia, Hollywood, and the left in general. A real illness which can, has, and continues to trigger self-contaminated minds on the left to sacrifice countless innocent human beings, the country and world over, rather than admit that President Donald J. Trump is — or has been — correct about…anything.
We are now dealing with this exponentially menacing mental health issue in real time as we watch the exceptional and heroic Armed Forces of the United States – under the orders of Commander-in-Chief Trump – lay waste to the brutal dictatorship in Iran, which has killed and terrorized hundreds of thousands over the years, including the murder and wounding of thousands of American troops. Again, a self-inflicted mental health issue in which many on the left would literally rather see the monsters ruling Iran continue to brutally subjugate their own people while exporting terrorism around the globe than admit Trump was right to finally take action when so many “leaders” of the past continually kicked the can down the road out of fear of doing the right thing.
Six weeks ago on X, I posted: “An Iran FREE from TOTALITARIAN rule would be one of the largest emancipations of oppressed WOMEN the world has ever seen. Why would anyone on the LEFT oppose that? Why the continued SILENCE from the LEFT?” Why, indeed?
Before, during, and long after Israel was forced to defend itself after the literal barbaric slaughter of over one thousand of its citizens on October 7, 2023, millions from the left instantly and continually protested for the rights and the lives of the people in Gaza. And yet, the vast majority of those millions of voices from the left have abandoned the long-suffering innocent citizens of Iran. A silence which is not only deafening, but obscene.
The one person above all who has not abandoned the brutally subjugated citizens of Iran is President Trump. He – because of his decision not to look the other way – has become a hero to tens of millions in Iran and around the world.
And that is the ultimate sin for so many on the left. How dare the oppressed praise him for saving them? The greater Left is beyond petrified that the “Trump Doctrine” will not only succeed in Iran but lead to more stability and peace across the Middle East. Please take a moment to wrap your mind around such a twisted and ugly way of thinking. Many on the left would truly rather see the people of Iran continue to suffer under a murderous dictatorship while the greater Middle East is further poisoned by terrorist cells controlled by the regime.
To be sure, some of those most petrified by the prospect of Trump’s success in Iran and the Middle East exist in the Congress of the United States of America. Far-left “do nothing” Members of Congress who for years let Barack Obama and Joe Biden unilaterally do whatever they wanted to around the world now suddenly believe it is their “duty” to stop Trump from crushing a murderous regime while liberating over 90 million in Iran. As what is left of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard “leadership” continues to launch thousands of missiles against the U.S. forces, our assets, and our allies in the region, the likes of Virginia Democratic Senator Tim Kaine and others seek to handcuff President Trump and our courageous troops.
Kaine proudly identifies as a “feminist.” As does far left New York City Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Okay, so where were their voices with regard to the reality that an Iran freed from totalitarianism would represent one of the largest emancipations of horribly oppressed women the world has ever seen? Where were the voices from the far-left pundits in the media, in academia, and in Hollywood? Jane Fonda and Rosie O'Donnell, anyone? Why don’t the oppressed, tortured, and murdered women of Iran count to them?
They do count on President Trump. Iran’s freedom does count to President Trump. A more stable and peaceful Middle East liberated from the largest exporter of terrorism and mayhem, does count for President Trump.
Seriously, how sick, twisted, and increasingly dangerous is it to have minds on the left so damaged and destroyed by self-created hate and rage choose subjugation, torture, killings, and the continual exportation of terrorism rather than admit that President Trump was right to take action when other “leaders” the world over abdicated their responsibilities for reasons of self interest and fear?
As an apt analogy, over the decades, years, and even months, we have seen bystanders do nothing while a criminal maimed or killed his victim. The rape and murder of Kitty Genovese in New York City in 1964 remains one of the most haunting and tragic on record.
Be it an attack upon him or someone else, we have also seen that Trump’s very first instinct is to fight. To jump onto the floor of the arena that so many others fear to tread.
Trump has just jumped into the fight to save Iran for its people and for greater peace in the Middle East. Many on the left want him to fail. That says it all.
