DNC PR Firm – WASHINGTON POST
The admission few outlets will dare report on.
The mourning over the loss of jobs at the Washington Post continues, and the Democrats are indicating they have taken a hit as a result. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez calls the layoffs a loss of "our media," and nobody is the least bit surprised to see this admission.
When Jeff Bezos bought WaPo, he immediately took control of the opinions section. Now, he's laying off hundreds of journalists, including those covering Amazon.

This isn’t a coincidence. It’s the result of billionaires with vested political agendas taking over our media.
Pathological Media Amnesia – CNN
Apparently, some media deserve to die off, others are too big to fail.
Another reaction over the WaPo layoffs came from none other than Brian Stelter, and he was expectantly off balance.

Brian was joining the ranks of sympathizers, delivering the words of the Post Guild, decrying the owner, Jeff Bezos, for not keeping the employees.
Yet, back at a time when Stelter sounded convinced that Twitter was going to go under with Elon Musk at the helm, he harbored no such sympathy. There was Brian saying that if it failed, it was a matter of the marketplace making a decision. Well, Brian, what has that market been saying about WaPo, for years now?
Funny. When it came to 𝕏 potentially dying, Brian just kinda shrugged his shoulders and said “that’s the free market deciding." https://t.co/ALIcuDZzFn pic.twitter.com/56desscpRs

Pre-Written Field Reports – CNN
Denial – proof – reframing. So goes her nightly cycle.
In this brief year already, Abby Phillip is striving to own this category. On a near-nightly basis, we see the hostess insisting on something, only to have the conflicting evidence delivered instantly. For the latest, she insists that there is no evidence of illegals voting in elections. Then Brianna Lyman delivers the actual statistics, and there goes the stammering Phillip, needing to recalibrate the explanation.
Me: "Noncitizen voting does happen"

Phillip: "How frequently is it?"
Me: "If you want I can list some of it"
Phillip (mockingly): “Yeah, please. Like, actual numbers."
Me: *starts rattling off "like, actual numbers"
*entire panel laughs*

Stealth Story Evolution – ABC NEWS / GMA
With such a heart-rendering story, who needs that "God stuff" included?!
The story of the missing mother of Savannah Guthrie, Nancy Guthrie, has been a deeply dramatic tale this week. In a desperate bid, we saw Guthrie and her siblings issue a video plea for her return. In that video, the Guthries repeatedly invoked God and mentioned faith and prayer.
Only you would not have picked up on this if you saw it on "Good Morning America." In their manipulated version, all mention of their faith and God had been edited out.

DNC PR FIRM – CNN
Hmmm, a bold statement like that seems like it needs some expanded details – or, you know, proof.
Congress is currently grappling with the partisan issue of voter reform, with the SAVE Act being debated on the Hill. The Democrats are clearly opposed to applying standards to the voting process, such as showing a picture ID at precincts. You get the sense of how panicked the Dems are by the level of melodramatics they are displaying, such as Chuck Schumer saying it is "Jim Crow 2.0." (Meanwhile, 70 percent of Democrat voters have said they support voter ID requirements, so his own party is racist?!)
On CNN, Jamie Raskin was also filled with hyperbole, and Kasie Hunt seemed perfectly at ease letting him spout his hysterics. Raskin says that this bill threatens the ability to vote of all women, and the notably female Ms. Hunt was content to allow his comment to stand, unchallenged.

Reporting on the Mirror – VARIOUS OUTLETS
Media layoffs appear to be all the rage.
While the wailing continues over WaPo jobs being cut, there are few tears seen over cuts elsewhere, as it appears to be an industry trend.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is cutting 15 percent of its staff, with half of those being newsroom positions. And, right on the cusp of the start of a new season, MLB.com is trimming reporters covering the baseball teams. The timing of this move is most curious, as this should be the busiest time with Spring Training just about to commence.
