A Clinton-appointed liberal judge, availing herself of an absurd legal technicality, has thrown a monkey wrench into the pending criminal cases against James Comer and Letitia James. “There is a political component to this,” says Bill O’Reilly, “the case should be tried on its merits.” But no, the judge’s decision means there is a good chance both of them will get away with criminal activity. Am I surprised? Not at all. It is all part of the perversion of the justice system to benefit Democrats.
In addition to Comer and James, many Democrats are getting away with murder: Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Eric Holder, Valerie Jarrett, John Kerry, Susan Rice, and Samantha Power. And we can’t leave out the behind-the-scenes criminals who ran the Biden White House: Ron Klain, Mike Donilon, Neera Tanden, Steve Ricchetti, and Bruce Reed.
None of this applies to the benefit of Republicans. If you are a Trump associate, you are in for the hot seat. Look at how many of them have been sent to prison or faced criminal charges: Roger Stone, Paul Manafort, Michael Flynn, Peter Navarro, Steve Bannon, Rudy Giuliani, Tina Peters, George Papadopoulos, just to name a few.
In the Age of Obama, the Democratic Party decided to deny justice to conservatives. If you are a conservative and a Trump supporter, you have been subjected to a double standard. Justice and fair play do not apply to you. The Justice Department, FBI, CIA, and the federal bench were taken over by the left-wingers of the Deep State. They have been meting out injustice—with a bullet for conservatives—daily.
Nothing proves the double standard more than the “cover-Hillary’s-butt” team. Hillary Clinton has been protected consistently by the justice system, from the Benghazi scandal to the uranium deal to the Clinton Foundation’s money laundering scheme. The Justice Department and the FBI sank to a new low by absolving Mrs. Clinton of guilt for violating the Espionage Act when she used a private server to transmit classified information and then destroyed the evidence. After spelling out her transgressions in excruciating detail, FBI Director Comey told us—with a straight face—that no charges would be filed against Mrs. Clinton because “no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case.”
In contrast, Paul Manafort was placed in solitary confinement for months without being convicted of a crime—because he was deemed guilty of being a Trump supporter. Manafort and his wife were asleep at 6 AM when a dozen fully armed FBI agents stormed Manafort’s Virginia condo. The raid likely occurred because Manafort had not “flipped” by revealing damning evidence about other Trump supporters. Manafort was sentenced to more than seven years in prison. Proving the existence of a double standard, Tony Podesta, brother of Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager, was given immunity from the same crimes that Manafort was charged with. Manafort was crucified while Clinton and her cronies walked away untouched.
Roger Stone, another long-time Trump supporter, received the KGB treatment at his Florida home as 29 FBI agents pounded on the door when he was in his pajamas, pointed automatic weapons at him, and terrorized his wife and dogs. “It was inappropriate and improper,” said ex-FBI agent Peter Yachmetz. “I cannot recall banging on anyone’s door at 6 AM for a white-collar crime.”
Dinesh D’Souza, an outspoken conservative and critic of Obama, was locked up with violent criminals for eight months because he violated a minor campaign finance law for which previous offenders received a slap on the wrist. General Michael Flynn, Trump’s first national security adviser, was coerced into pleading guilty to lying to the FBI, even though FBI Director Comey eventually testified that he did not believe Flynn had lied. Our once-respected FBI was again complicit in the double standard. It doesn’t happen to Democrats.
And what about the campaign against Donald Trump? No president in my lifetime faced such a vicious barrage of attacks from Democrats, Rinos, and the media. Barack Obama, a socialist who hates America, never faced anything like this. On the contrary, anyone who had the temerity to criticize Obama was automatically called out as racist. Is this not a double standard?
Trump was investigated for crimes they knew he did not commit, most notable the Russia Collusion hoax that exhausted the nation’s resources for more than three years. “When the truth was finally exposed,” wrote Elizabeth Stauffer in The Western Journal, “Trump supporters expected that those who perpetrated the scandal would be held accountable, but nothing happened.”
Demonstrators from the January 6th Capitol incursion languished in jail with no charges filed and no bail, while thousands of leftist rioters, looters, and arsonists who destroyed our cities and towns during the summer of 2020 either were not arrested or received suspended sentences. The media abdicated its role as defender of the truth by reinforcing the double standard.
The media reports that investigations are being conducted against Democrats, but we never hear that prosecutions and judgments result from these investigations. I will feel a sense of relief if James Comer and Letitia James get what they deserve, but I am not holding my breath.
