There comes a point at which you have to be amazed by how it is Democrats can find new and creative ways to embarrass the species to which we all belong. The thing to remember about the political left is that there is literally no bottom for them to hit, only an endless pit of shame, stupidity and hypocrisy through which they forever fall. That’s how you end up with the party putting up known pedophile Jeffrey Epstein as a would-be character assassin against President Donald Trump.
Honestly, who thinks that Jeffrey Epstein calling Donald Trump a horrible person would, in any way, be a way to attack the President? To tell you the truth, whoever is running the show for the GOP should be ashamed that they didn’t put it out themselves.
What did Democrats put out there? A tweet reading, “BREAKING: Newly released emails show Jeffrey Epstein thought Trump was one of the worst people he knew, with ‘not one decent cell in his body.’ He went on to describe Trump with one word: ‘Dangerous.’”
I have very low expectations for Democrats when it comes to things like honesty, decency and intelligence, but this one struck me by surprise, even for them.
Is there anyone out there who would want a known pervert child rapist to think they’ve anything other than “dangerous” to them? Maybe George Stephanopoulos of ABC News, who famously went to Epstein’s “welcome home” dinner at his mansion in Manhattan after his release from house arrest after his first round of child rape exposure, but no decent human beings would.
Unfortunately for Democrats, they are not a group known for having decent human beings in their ranks. Occupy Democrats, part of the Brownshirt wing of the party, jumped on the bandwagon, tweeting, “Epstein may have been an evil predator, but he was a perceptive judge of character.”
Of course, Epstein was a big-time Democratic Party donor, which means he judged the “progressive left” to be his type of people more than Republicans and Donald Trump. Is that something you’d really brag about or even think would be a point of pride for anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together or any semblance of a moral compass?
Perhaps that brain damage is why Democrats also tweeted out another Epstein quote, “I have met some very bad people, none as bad as Trump.”
Honestly, the White House should be putting these quotes out. Hell, they should be putting these quotes on t-shirts and bumper stickers.
It says something about a party when it uses a monster to make a political point. It says something more about them when they don’t realize their hatred for their opponent has them siding with that monster while claiming to “care” about that person’s victims.
Democrats have been insisting the government release the “Epstein files,” like there’s a big bag of documents sitting in an office somewhere. If Democrats have some information, there is literally nothing preventing them from telling the world. The speech and debate clause of the Constitution gives each Member of Congress absolute immunity from legal consequences for anything and everything they say on the floor of their respective chambers. If they have information, from classified to completely defamatory, they can go read it or speak of it without any legal repercussions whatsoever on the floor.
Why haven’t they? Why haven’t the victims come forward? I get that there are non-disclosure agreements, but so what? If they exist, what pervert billionaires are going to sue over violating an NDA when the existence of an NDA would be at least a passive acknowledgement of criminal activity? A Member of Congress announcing names on the Floor of the House would have immunity of civil liability and the victims would not have done anything anyway, so there would be nothing more than exposure of criminal monsters…if they exist.
I know people say these women are terrified that these “powerful men” might have them killed if they were to talk, but ask yourself this: if you’re inclined (and able) to have people murdered if they expose your deep, dark secrets, wouldn’t you have them killed already? Why would they risk someone knowing “the truth” about them just blabbing when they could simply have them murdered? Morally vacant monsters aren’t known for paying off victims, then trusting them to keep secrets. If you’ve got murder in you if someone talks, you have it in you to prevent them from having the chance to.
Everything related to Jeffrey Epstein is BS posturing at this point. If there were more crimes and more criminals, they’d be known already. If Ghislaine Maxwell had the goods on anyone, don’t you think she’d talk? She’s 63, she’s likely going to spend either the rest of her life or damn near it in prison and she’s just going to sit on this golden “get out of jail free” ticket? Does that make any sense?
Does anything anyone is saying about this situation make any sense? Once you remove the emotion, it does not.
The thing that makes the least sense of all is the Democrats using a Democrat criminal to attack the President – a sicko “character witness” they seem to think makes them look good. It’s the ultimate in Trump Derangement Syndrome, but it’s also pretty freaking hilarious and says more about them than anything we ever could.
